I am keeping an eye on Dont'e Thornton,he ran 4.3 and he measured at 6 feet 5 inches and only Golden was faster than him.you cant teach speed and size which we really lack on our offense

FWIW, Greg Ellis ran a 4.85 and still had a very productive career (84 sacks).

Williams's size-adjusted speed isn't bad, given that he's a gigantic 6'5" 276. Greg Ellis is a good comp. But his problem is that he's competing for a top pick against guys like James Pearce, who tested more like a DeMarcus Ware. It's hard to ignore that kind of top-end juice.

If it's really a 1.59, then he's more than fine. DEs who break 1.60 are inordinately successful, and 270+ lb DEs breaking 1.60 are unheard of.
