Lol

Its amazing to me that some people think this team is going to be worse with Tony. I can see the argument for sticking with Dak, but it's not as if playing QB on this team is difficult.
I did not say with Romo we will fail. My words never said that. I said if he did fail then it would be devastating. Obviously if he succeeded then it would be great. That's obvious.

Why do you have to assume the worst case? Couldn't you just say, what if Romo proves that he too can hand off to Zeke and throw a bunch of short passes to a wide open Cole Beasley? We have the most scary, worry wart fan base I've ever seen.

Except Dak does much more than that. He's a mobile QB who's healthy, on a 7 game winning streak and no one wants to mess with chemistry and how things are going. Why mess with this.

Tony right now is an unknown. How much rust does he have? Is he actually in football shape?

Personally, I don't assume we will be worse with Romo. In fact, weeks ago, I was still suggesting that when Romo was ready we should go.

But the team, right now, is really just flowing on offense. To deny that changing something up can't disrupt that and set a season off track would be foolish.

The decision gets easier if Prescott scuffles a bit coming up. But if he plays great in the Pitt and Baltimore games, I think it's a risk to just hand the reins back to Romo.

I'm going to be furious if they put romo in. You just can't mess with what's been working. Say they put romo in and he struggles and we lose against the steelers. Then what? To me it would be devastating.

We're the only ones that can sabotage our own season. Agreed. Praying that we don't get in our own way.

Tony to Garrett -- "Lemme in, coach, lemme in -- I'm ready now!"

Garrett: "Hold on now, just hold on! Don't rush it, it's a process." :)

You forgot...it is "play" to "play"....well, guess it is better than day to day....

I don't understand. Tony Romo shouldn't be a headline at this point. Let him practice and get prepared IF needed. No rushing ... back... No hero ball.... RELAX TONY

Tony freaking Romo shouldn't be a headline? Wut? I want Dak, but it's disingenuous to say that Tony shouldn't be a headline. This story is very relevant.

This is the second day in a row you've done this. Stahp, bro.

I am exactly the same, Syd. At first, all Romo... now, don't touch this train, baby!

I don't think he's been rushed. I think he's ready. Like legitimately ready. We're now week 11 since his injury, I think he's good now. I also think if Dak had spit the bit and the team was struggling, he'd have been back a month ago and THAT would've been rushing him.

whatever choice is made once the Cowboy feel Romo is fully ready I just hope the fan base can rally behind it and put their own ego's in check. I like both of these guys and so no matter which way the Cowboys go at QB I plan on giving full support.

Lol.... No I get it... this is a message board and this is only one of the biggest storylines in sports.. I just wish it wasn't. You're perfectly fine posting this.. wasn't directed at you. It's just the fact that Jerry is giving a ****in update every other day and it generates headlines is nauseating. Just say "we'll continue to evaluate Romo's status" AND THAT'S IT... until you declare that Dak is our starter for the rest of the season.

Say what you will, I doubt he can handle the short week after playing the Ravens. He could not before this latest back injury. In my mind let him play against Minny if you feel the need to play him. He can stay on schedule with his back getting rested on Weds of each week. Honestly we are talking about two very good players at this point it could be worse going into mid November.

See him Sunday playing or suited up?

He's not playing.

Suited up. I think even if he dresses, he won't play this week.

It's great that Romo feels ready to go, but he thought he was ready last season and broke his collarbone again. He thought he was ready in the preseason and suffered a fracture. I'd rather have him in reserve if we need him, at least for right now. Let him get as far removed from these injuries as possible before putting him in.
