looks like the best WR in the draft against Hall tonight, wow. I don't know if he's that good, or Hall is that bad.

He was also playing the Faiders.

I agree-what appeared to be a weak WR class actually turned out pretty strong.

Reminded me of Terry Glenn the way he got in and out of cuts so quickly.

The raiders have been a strong team against the past in the last few years.

Eddie Royal looks like a player, plain and simple.

I think D Hall is just that bad. Everyone has been saying it on here, hes EXTREMELY overrated.

both.

I'd like to toot my horn now by reminding those of my 'Royal' desires on draft day...

I really should be on somebody's payroll.

Im not getting my annointing oil out after week 1 for DeSean Jackson or Eddie Royal. Half his yards came off safety Wilson. The Raiders defense was lost and confused most of the night. Hall is just awful cant believe people tried to say he was one of the best CBs in the league.

Lets see how Royal does next week against San Diego secondary.

but according to the foreskins they got the steals of the draft in kelly and thomas. :laugh2:

I wouldn't anoint him either but if you're watching the game, there's no denying he's playing like a very good WR. Both DeSean and Eddie had strong preseasons as well, so it's not coming completely out of nowhere.

Half his yards came off Wilson? I don't even know what that means, how does he control who covers him? If Barber runs over a CB, do we discount those yards because a CB tried to tackle him instead of a LB?

He's finding the holes in the zone, turning dudes around, running crisp routes, going in motion, making smart decisions. He may not be the next Steve Smith or anything, but he has looked pretty good when he's been on the field.

Royal looks really good. Hall sucks **** but Royal's route running was still really crisp especially for a rookie. Looks quick and probably is the best wr this draft. Wondered how they could start this guy over djack and colbert but it's pretty obvious now after that game.

I added Royal tonight. Now my WR crew is as follows

TO
Ward
Evans
Curry
Royal

1 game by 1 WR doesn't make this a strong WR draft all of the sudden.

All I am saying is lets see him do it for more then 1 week vs a bunch of scrubs who are dazed and confused. I didnt see him making catches on Ashomga (sp). The Raiders are stupid for trying to cover a speed WR with a flipping safety.

How many people are in your league...

Personally, he looks THAT good...Dilfer's breakdown on him on SC after the game was spot on...The guy has great burst and gets into space as well as gets open phenomenally...Never saw him in college or heard much about him going into the draft but wow...He looks terrific.

only 12 teams

and each team has 9 starters and 4 bench

QB
RB
RB
WR
WR
TE
WR/RB
K
Def

Just watch the guy and stop worrying about who was covering him. He runs extremely good routes for a rookie, some of the best I have seen from someone his age. The key with him will be how he handles press coverage, which I gather will be a similar issue with DS Jax.
