Are electric razors permitted on a carry on?

I'm flying to Dallas tomorrow for the game and would like to know since I don't have a checked bag.

Thanks!

I'm sure they are but then again, I always check a bag and hate those who are too cheap to check a bag and shove pianos in the overhead bins.

Yes, you can have an electric razor. The reason being, this doesn't work.

I can see why he is trying to do this. Notice the Tampax in the picture? Yep, it's that time of the month for his wife. :laugh2:

Yeah that's exactly why i'm not checking a bag. /sarcasm.

Most GUYS don't need to bring 25 different outfits pairs of shoes like you I guess.

:laugh2: touche!

Thank you!

An electric razor will be fine. Unless it's a good one, then they will probably just steal it. :(

I never check bags if I don't have to and it's not about being cheap.

It's about saving time both before and after the flight. I can't stand waiting for luggage and quite frankly I don't trust those people at all. Of course I once had my suitcase come off the belt cracked completely open and emptied in a big Tupperware tub.

Was flying recently and got pulled to the side for a pat down and inspection of my carry on.

The reason? I had a metal shoe horn in my carry on. I always bring it, so not sure why it was an issue on this one flight.

When they pulled it out and discovered what it was, I asked if I get have it back and walked over and used it to put my shoes back on. So it worked out, I guess.

You could totally fashion that into a suitable shank while waiting for your flight.

Normally when I fly for vacation I take my golf clubs with me. Next time I think I will use FedEx to ship my clubs to where ever I'm staying. Cost 18 bucks to ship the clubs and they should be at my destination before I get there.

Just pray your golf bag doesn't end up arriving with more clubs in it than you sent. :laugh2:

Same with the handles on my carry on, or any number of other items. But I think a guy in a business suit with dress shoes, shirts, ties, etc., in a carry on with a shoe horn isn't a risk worth singling out.

Not ever. A risk? Sure. There are infinite risks in life. The overwhelming majority of which aren't worth the cost of insuring against.
