If he's not a Bust at this point...He's as close as it gets.

And I might add that he is at the magical three year mark.

Vick made it through that times 2.

Ummmm yeah when Peyton figures out how to lead his team to a Super Bowl.....wake me up.

In fact, if he can figure out how to throw an incompletion without throwing a complete hissy fit on the field, that might be a good first step to figuring out how to not be a total loser.

You are gonna sleep forever. :)

:laugh2:

He does that a lot. He's a definite whiner when things aren't going right.

He needs a coach that can get his players to perform. They knew they are dead and gave up a while ago. Tiki leaving at the peak of his game? They laid down on the coaching staff.

Eli needs to work on his mechanics, all his passes sail

After the whole draft day fiasco with the Chargers and his daddy shopping him around to the entire league like some kind of debutante princess.....I can't help but root against Eli Manning.

:p: He's a Bust too!

And has been for 2 years.

He is as far as a QB goes. They need to move him out of that position. But then, he'd probably just be an average RB or WR.

It's easy for a fast QB to get alot of yards when the DB's are covering their man going backwards, etc. and then turn around and see him running at you.

No doubt and again where he was picked...It's even worse.

It's hard to believe Amani Toomer made that much difference to their offense, but they went south when he went down.

I would say that the salary that the Falcon wise men signed him to makes it even worse. They are married to the guy now.

I think the coaching staff knows that they would be better off with Schaub in there which is why they played Schaub at QB and moved Vick to the backfield. I think that move is going to come sometime next year.

The toughest calls in football are the ones that you have to admit you made a huge mistake on...and the Falcons did.

Vick is as Mora's Father said a Coach killer.

Didn't you hear?

He "arrived" earlier this year.

Only place he's arrived is in the locker room urinal. :pee:

Sure hasn't gotten much farther than that.

Giants got: Eli Manning

Chargers got: Phillip Rivers*, Nate Kaeding* (3rd round pick 2004), Luis Castillo? (1st round pick from NYG, #28), not sure about 5th round pick.

* = 2007 Pro Bowl selection.

Rivers aside, I think Kaeding and Castillo were well worth it alone.

Wasn't Merriman from that trade?

They also got Merriman from one of the draft picks given to them for Eli. In other words, the Giants got fleeced.

I believe Merriman was their first rounder from the Giants. Both first rounders were involved in steroid scandals, so 6 one way, half-dozen the other.
