What if this guys manages to play well and wins the freaking Super Bowl. That would suck for many Cowboys fans and especially Tony Romo. Romo has been placed as one of the elite QBs in the league. Eli is only thought of as Peyton Manning's kid brother. Can you imagine the crap we would have to hear especially from Giants fans if they win? Hell, I even heard Matt Freakin Leinert talking yesterday about how he thought the timing of the Cabo trip was horrible. Tomorrow, we could be talking about Eli Manning, Super Bowl Winning QB.

Yup, That would definitely suck. But to tell you the tuth, I'm not really worried about it. Ellie is still Ellie ,and he'll prove it today.

I dunno. I'm still not a believer in Eli Manning.

His accuracy is awful. And I've seen far too many meltdowns to believe he's suddenly figured everything out in the last few games after not figuring it out for the past four years.

If he does the job today, that'll go a long way toward changing my opinion.

I don't think he will.

I'm not at all worried about him winning a ring. The Patriots are going to finish up the 19-0 season.

But even if they dont, and Eli gets a ring, I really don't care either. It has no bearing on what I think about the Cowboys or Romo.

Eli has been starting for 4 seasons now, I believe. Romo has started a season and a half. I'm not worried.

Yea, I'd hate to see Eli win it. But I'd still rather watch The Brady Bunch lose.

Go Giants. :banghead:

NYG played great team ball in the playoffs... Therefore they deserve to be where they are now...

Dallas played crap ball in December and it cost them... They should know this tune very well because they've done it every year since 2003... everything before that was ultimately forgettable.

Until Dallas plays knockout playoff style football in DECEMBER and BEYOND, it wont happen. Best teams play their best ball at the end of the season...

Hopefully next year we wont be sitting here wishing what might have been for the final season at Texas Stadium.

Ellie's problem is this is what is expected of him. He was the number pick in his draft and acted like a prima donna before even playing a down in the NFL.
This is what is expected of a guy with his background. His team should be competing for conference championships or superbowls every season.
If he doesn't come out and dominate this game, and I don't believe he will, its just another failure for him. Another case of him not living up to his billing and being shown up by a 6th round, afterthought draft pick who didn't have his way paved to the NFL by his dad and older brother.

From everything I have been hearing from the NY media....Coughlin simplified the game plan...which was the turning point for shEli

I am hoping that Belicheat will have some new wrinkles on the D today which should bring shEli back down to earth.

Have to give the devil his due...shEli has been awfully eficient the latter part of the season and definitely in the playoffs. Belicheat on the other hand has had 2 weeks to devise a D which should take shEli out of his comfort zone.

I hate the patsies...but I *** DESPISE the gnats....let's hope shEli doesn't make history today...I'm not rooting for the patsies, but I will definitely be rooting against the gnats today!

If the Pats put them in a whole early, they will pour it on. Most of the guys I work with are saying 37 to 41 for the Pats and 17-21 for the G-men.

Tom brady says who gives a **** where we go or what we do(okay he said it nicer, but thats what he ment), he said they have lives and tony romo shouldnt be put down for that. I say thank you to that, hate him or love him the guys a machine, a 454 engine with edelbrock parts. As much as i hate the patriots it doesnt compare to a tenthof the amount i dislike the giants.
:suxjints:

So today, im hoping for a class A beat down on strahan, eli, jacobs and company. If you truly feel the division rivalry im with you, no matter whose going against the giants (with exception to eagles, Commanders), they must be beat.

I've been given a lot of crap for being a Moss fan since his days at Marshall, but I don't care. I'll be rooting for him to get his first ring. Especially since I can't stand Manning and the Giants. Only one player I like on the Giants and thats Justin Tuck since he's a ND boy.

I'd rather hear that than about how the Pats are the greatest team, franchise, organization, and institution in the history of mankind.

Honestly, Eli may have a dumbface, but he doesn't seem like a bad guy. If the Giants do win, I'd be more sorry that d-bags like Strahan, Jacobs, and Shockey got a ring.

I'll honestly be really surprised if the G-Men stay within 21 of the Pats tonight. I've got the Pats winning 35-10.
