Good one!

Aside from the fact you completely reinforced my point, that was hilarious!

I shouldn't have to justify myself to you, because you are clearly a moron and I doubt you will even try to understand what I am saying. However I will do it anyways.

I hate Eli Manning. I hate his family. I hate his face. I hate the giants, always have always will. BUT I am not stupid enough to claim that either one of them are our ****. I am not stupid enough to disregard they won the NFC East last year. I am not stupid enough to ignore that Tiki had an incredible season last year. I am not stupid enough to overlook their D Line. Just spouting off baseless insults about the quality of our opponents, simply because they are our opponents just doesn't cut it for me.

I don't know. Call me crazy, but I like some substance to my criticisms of other teams and their players. I am also willing to entertain dissenting opinions of substance, even though I disagree. I know that isn't very popular with you and your grade school mentality of calling them names and claiming anyone who disagrees can not be a true Cowboy fan. Just try to evaluate the situation with a bit less bias and a bit more intelligence.

I agree, Cowboy Bebop, as any strategist knows, an accurate analysis of your enemy is essential to success. Those who deceive themselves only hurt themselves.

I have watched Eli in about 10 games over the last 3 years. Not just against us, but skins, Eagles, and others. I just do not see what the big deal is all about. IF his name WAS NOT MANNING, he would be getting a lot more heat then he is. He shows a lot of promise, but so far a lot more promise then results when you consider he has a great RB, and a fair number of other good players around him.

He looked awful good to me. The obituaries on him were a bit premature.

I'm amazed at how many Cowboys fans wanted to tear this kid down. Remember the Henson/Manning comparisons? :p:

No one in their right mind should have ever put Henson in the same category as Manning. 8 starts at Michigan against - what- 40 or so at Mississippi?

Hos, the kid looks like he's progressing quite nicely. Dunno what he will be by the end of this year, but I really like what I'm seeing so far ...or, as a Cowboy fan, maybe I don't.

Here's my 2 cents on Eli. He's obviously young and can improve, but from what I've seen of him he has some major flaws right now.

He stares down his receivers. This is probably a common mistake by younger QBs, but he's particularly bad at it. He has a tendency to decide who he's going to pass to before the ball is even snapped, often forcing passes into tight coverage. He can get away with it sometimes because he has a couple of good big receiving targets in Shockey and Buress who can make catches while covered, but it does hurt him often.

He has trouble reading defenses. He struggled the most when teams changed up the defense and mixed in some good blitzing schemes, which is why I think he'll struggle against our 3-4 and Washington's complex defense.

He's just inaccurate sometimes. I don't know if it's a mechanical thing or if it's related to the first 2 points, but his throws are just off sometimes. When you look at his weapons, he really should have a higher completion percentage.

He actually regressed somewhat as the season went on last year. That's not a good sign for a young QB and may be due to the fact that defensive coordinators learned how to take advantage of his deficiencies. He also has one of the elite RBs in the league and I can guarantee you that if teams weren't so focussed on trying to stop Tiki that Eli's numbers would drop considerably. I think this is a crucial year for Eli, he needs to make improvements in his game or else he may become the below average quarterback that we saw at times near the end of the season last year.

That is just about exactly how I see him. Much better description.

All I know is if you offer me a QB who can tak eover a team midway through his rookie year and the next year win the NFCE, I'll tak ehim and not whine.

All I'm gonna say is that I would love Eli to be a member of the Cowboys.

I think we would have our franchise QB with him here.
