On Around the Horn Cowlishaw just said the Giants have 19 players on injured reserve. I was never worried about this game to begin with but after hearing that AND Jenkins being out I'm about ready to declare this game my lock of the week. Spread is at -4 which is amazing.

Not bad at all. Personally, I think losing out and getting embarrassed will truly benefit this franchise in the long run.

I can see our D playing a great game and holding them to less than 10.

I can certainly understand the anxiety for us as fans leading up to this game.

Sports just love the storybook angles. This game has a Hollywood setting of 'the old gladiator shows us one last time how great he is".
However, this game could also prove that a recently fired coach was right to move on from the old has-been player.
So which will it be? I predict Eli comes out guns-a-blazin'... until DLaw and Irving put him down.

And hey, if I'm wrong, we can all go back to those fans that want us to tank for a high draft pick and look at who's available. It's a win-win.

That's just ridiculous. You know what does matter? Talent, and they don't have it. I got to admit, I felt more confident before McAdoo got fired but they still suck. Did you see my post earlier? They have 19 players on IR, 19! They couldn't beat us the first game with OBJ and Jenkins and Marshall and whatever other losers they had at the time and now they're that much worse off. They lost to the Commanders by 10 on Thanksgiving and we demolished the Commanders one week later. It won't even be close.

Reminds me of when we fired Wade and all of a sudden Kitna, Dez and the offense looked like all pros against the Giants of course
