Elliott 33 yards

Dak had three options on that sack for a TD. Gallup in one on one coverage streaming down the sidelines. Zeke in the flat. And he could have hit his TE if he just released it, but he tucked the ball out of fear.

His processing time was slow in every instance in that play.

One week he's the best back in the league than the next he was a waste of a top 5 pick. I guess such is fan life in the NFL.

He had a poor game and the Commanders game plan worked perfectly. Unfortunately we didnt give them too much else to second guess their strategy and there was little room to run.

Zeke is never at fault. If the O line is great, he’s great. If the O line sucks, it’s the O lines fault.

Bro!!! This was on dak missing 3 dudes and allowing himself to take a sack/fumble that cost us the game!

lol how do you spin it as zekes fault at that exact point? lol

If anything I can respect you blaming Conor for having that terrible hold call that negated the throw to Bease

I’m pointing out just the facts.

The OL has a ton of assets poured into it, with draft picks and cap space. The team is weak in other areas, due to the investment into the OL.

The OL HAS TO BE the strength of the team. If they aren’t, we have no chance.
The OL should be the strength of the team. When the Commanders selected Daron Payne I thought Oh hell

Zeke was given no chance today.

It was obvious when watching the game.
Lol. And what “chances” does he need to be the best RB in the NFL like so many homers claim? How delusional are you bro?

It would t have been an issue if Romo
Was starting, the guy they drafted Zeke for.

Romo's replacement should have still been drafted - even if we had expectations of Romo being healthy for another couple years. One team jumped us and got themselves a trophy. Sadly, that team is a team we have mocked for years and now they get to laugh at us while we look into the distant past and only see the glimmer from our 90s and 70s trophies.

Literally only hapoens when we go two and three te's or te and fb.

Prove me wrong...

Defenses are playing single high safety because they don't fear Dak throwing deep. Dak is not very good at anticipating routes, so every throw is contested.

8-9 man front on every snap pretty much. Until the QB is able to make plays down the field with consistency Zeke is not going to run over any defenses any time soon.

It’s not just that, it’s the DBs playing close. On the 2nd and 4 in the third I think it was, Commanders had everybody up, including their DBs at the line, with pretty much nobody over top. All Dak had to do is call a play action fake and it would have been a huge gain most likely, but he just goes with the play for an outside run with Zeke.

Zeke IS a problem, and it shows that we opted to go for an RB rather than a more important position in 2016. You get these types of mistakes often rear their ugly heads 2-3 years down the line? Well, it's showing now.

We went cheap the QB to come after Romo and went high on the RB to replace Murray. This is what you end up with. We'll be lucky to have a top 5 pick again and in position to get our franchise QB.

We'll be in a cycle we were in from 2000 to 2006 again. And we won't be getting lucky with an undrafted player at QB.
Never winning past the 1st round of the playoffs is lucky?

This is why you don’t draft a RB 4th overall. Congrats on your 33 yards or whatever it was Zeke. Fantastic!

As I’ve always said, he goes as far as the O line goes. Nice flashy, luxury pick Jerrah.

What does Elliot’s draft position have to do with the inept coaching staff not knowing how to utilize their talents and being predictable on offense.

Who could they have had a 4 and who would have been their back? We were playing in a tight SB window and we blew it.

I’m not delusional at all. Football is a team sport. Zeke got no help today.

The offensive line had their butts handed to them. It was a horrible, horrible performance by them. Even the best running backs in the league have bad games if their OL’s play like crap.

That is true. Not 8 and 9 man fronts.

Dak tried throwing some players open today with mixed results. Rico play comes to mind but he was tripped.

Dak had two tds...and converted 3rd downs.

Zeke let a ball hit him in the face like a toddler.
Probably didn't expect it to be thrown so accurately after that wide open flat pass a few plays before was about 3 yards wide of target.

What happens to qbs?

Dak rushed for a td, and passed for a TD .

He isn't MVP material, but better than average in this game.

He had a bad game. Defense was running downhill and attacking the LOS all game to shut him down. Pretty much left their secondary to fend for itself because they weren't worried about our passing game.

Probably for the best because with Zeke's history...he is shoelaced tackled for no gain.
