With all this legal crap going on, this was a horrible look for Mr. Feed-me.

This isn't going to end well with him, I'm afraid.

Anybody that has ever played football, at any level, knows you always chase the play. Even if the guy is 10 yards in front of you, you chase the play and don't stand there with your hands on your hips watching.

Why? Because what would have happened if the DB would have fumbled the ball when he got tackled? That is why you chase the play, you never know what could happen.

I am not going to say Zeke quit on the other plays because frankly I saw no holes for him to run through, but on that play he most surely quit. If I was the head coach, I would tell every player during film study that I better never see something like this again or everybody is running laps till they vomit.
I'm okay with Zeke quitting on that one play. If you were head coach and said that, you would have 52 grown men laughing in your face. This ain't high school, they have a CBA that restricts what you as a coach can do and you most certainly can't make them run laps till they vomit.

Short answer: Zeke in 2017 is where Dez Bryant was in 2010-12. Eventually, Dez got things together, for the most part.

Elliott is so talented, the Cowboys will have no choice but wait for him to grow up. If it doesn't happen, well....they don't have to exercise that fifth year in his rookie contract, do they? I can't believe I'm saying this after last year, and I hope it doesn't come to this.

Let's see.....we hated Dez getting upset about the Detroit/Megatron game with Witten & Ware telling him to calm down with 12 seconds to go, when we saw 49 minutes and 48 seconds remaining from that defensive fiasco

We hated T.O for having passion....and bought in on the team obliterator label.

We laughed at T.O. for crying about his QB who failed to defend him one second or say thanks, then visited Cabo the next season or so.

Now Zeke.

What do we want?

Maturity. Work ethic. Never give up. Act like you've been there. Good sportsmanship. Team player. Positive attitude.

NOT

Look at me, everyone! Give me the damn ball! Man, this is bull****! Give up when the going gets tough. Front runners. Whiners. Quitters. Divas.

I'm talking about the interception that everyone is complaining that Zeke quit on. That was Dez's fault 100%. It's not Dez's job to play CB... if he could get open he wouldn't have to be swatting balls away from the guy covering him. Dez complained he wasn't getting the ball. He says even when he's not open, he's open... well he ought to be more careful of what he asks for. Linehan told Dak to throw to Dak even if he looks covered so that's exactly what he did. Dez was not as he advertised himself to be.

Wait. Let me get this straight.....you are blaming Dez for the poor balls Dak threw to him? If he was swatting footballs....doesn't that tell you that the passes weren't accurate to him? So now we are blaming Dez for the poor passes that Dak threw to him?

I'm reminded of a playoff game in San Diego where Brady threw a pick which should have ended the game. But Troy Brown never gave up and caused a fumble on the return. Players should give their all until the whistle blows.

he just got absolutely RIPPED on The Hardline (a show on The Ticket radio station in Dallas)

I have to say, I agree with every word they said, and it's not JUST about the interception

Let me get this straight... you are blaming Dak for Dez not being able to get open? Dez wouldn't have to swat balls away if he was open. The fact that Dez was close enough to swat the balls away ought to tell you Dak was throwing them accurate. We didn't have a poor passer, we had a poor catcher that is by far over paid.

If he's not open then why in the hell is Dak throwing it to him? And Dak threw bad footballs to EVERYONE YESTERDAY. I'm a Dak fan.....glad we have him.....but this guy was terrible yesterday. I chalk it up to him being young and still learning the position and learning the game......we are blaming Dez for poorly thrown footballs.....so what's the excuse for why Beasley, Witten and Terrence had poorly thrown footballs to them?

Dez says he's open when he looks covered so Dak tested that theory and proved Dez not only wasn't open, but he couldn't get open. You let Von Miller chase you around and see how accurate you throw the ball, that's not Dak's fault. He knows plenty about the game and his age has nothing to do with his inability to connect with his receivers. Dak has proven by now if you've been paying attention that he has no problem hitting his targets if he is given time to throw the ball. The O-line fail Dak and Zeke and so we had what we had. That is where the blame belongs.

He quit on a few plays, he pouted on the sidelines and looks a tad overweight. It is simple, he either grows up, gets mad and pounds the ball the rest of the season or continues to show his immaturity. I am hoping it is not the later. He has a new life, knows his chances are good to play all year, now suck it up and do what you do best. Everybody has a bad day.

I think alot of fans are really missing the main issue with Zeke. Partying was big part of his life. Its what brought him joy. As person who used to like it also I am so glad I was able to do it without scrutiny. But Zeke is the talk of country and NFL is run by division rival team and they can change things quickly and did. I don't know where Zeke goes from here. I don't see burning passion to just play football with him. What I see is guy who loves physicality of football, dominate then celebrate later. He is in lock-down and shows it. The guy needs a beer. Maybe arrange small (invite only) parties.

Great insight. Never looked at Zeke like this until now. Let me add one more thing- from high school, to Ohio State, to the 2016 Cowboys, did Zeke ever lose a game this badly? I doubt he did, and thus he has almost no experience dealing with it.

Maybe get him a beer, and convince him that in the NFL, you're going to have games like this.

So its everyones fault but Dak's?
