When it comes to football, Ezekiel Elliott has been saying all the right things.
Before he was selected fourth overall by the Cowboys in the 2016 NFL draft on April 28, Elliott said Dallas has "the best offensive line in football" and that it would be "an honor" to run behind it.
"You've got some vets around you that you can learn a lot from. You can learn a lot from [Tony] Romo. You can learn a lot from Jason Witten. You can learn a lot from Dez [Bryant],"
Elliott said April 27 in Chicago. "I think it would be a good situation for me. I could go in there and I can learn and I can develop."
And since his arrival to the Dallas-Fort Worth area? He's spoken fondly of the fan base, said wearing Emmitt Smith's No. 22 jersey "
would've been kind of disrespectful" and is not shying away from lofty expectations.
Wednesday night, he addressed ... hockey.
