Rookie records and stats are not the real issue.

When you sub in an inferior talent like Lance Dunbar, that is the problem.

Hopefully Garrett has figured that out.

The same mindset that sat Zeke during the season led to the team having a vacation before the playoffs and losing that game because of it.

Our head coach cost us a chance to win a title last year and not enough people seem to care or even realize it.

I'd have fired him the day after the playoff loss.

Just curious, you were rather bullish on Garrett up until last year. Was it this past post-season that did it for you (giving up on him)?

In all seriousness, I agree with Zeke. He ran into contact so much, he left yards on the field. He rarely hit someone and kept running. I don't mind doing it to send a message, but mix it up a little

Well that and having a man as a head coach who isn't afraid to let you play all downs and an entire season, Zeke.

Rookie records and stats are not the real issue.

Hopefully Garrett has figured that out.

Zeke led the NFL in regular season rushing attempts.

Criticizing the coaches for subbing him too much last season makes zero sense.

Most RBs who had the kind of season that Elliott did might be inclined to rest on their laurels -- not so with him. It's much to his credit that he's someone who sees where he might improve and is willing to do whatever it takes to do so. Perhaps it's a big reason why he's so successful.

This is absolutely true.

Zeke got better as the season went on, but he wasn't really able to hit home runs very often. His best attribute is his consistency, but he can be and should be better at the second level.

Have no idea why we didn't get Adrian Peterson for what he ended up costing... Would have been a great backup to Zeke.
