Ellis not a happy camper


Defensive end Greg Ellis accompanied the Cowboys to California on Thursday, but he wasn't thrilled to be there.

Ellis, who's not a fan of the 3-4 and was demoted late last season in favor of rookie Chris Canty, vented to SportsDay's Jean-Jacques Taylor.

"I still don't want to be here," Ellis said. "I'm not looking forward to it [training camp]. It's still disappointing to me. I'm going to go and play as hard as I can, but I'm a 4-3 guy and I really don't want to be in a 3-4. I'm trying to take the high road, but it really hasn't worked. It is what it is. It isn't anything against Bill or Jerry, but I don't want to be here."

Ok...im officially done with this guy, I have been trying to see things from his point of view and you know what.....i can kinda see where hes coming from. However, there comes a point in time when you just have to be a man, shut up and play football. Good Football players play good football no matter what style of football it is. If its not their style then they adjust accordingly. Ellis is starting to be a distraction for this team, I liked Ellis up until this point but i believe that its time for us to make a deal and get rid of this guy!

It is about being a whiney little biznatch... Greg only cares about his money and his stats. He has never been more than adequate. He is replacable... I hope they sit his arse all year and cut him at the end of the season. Now go get your money Greg...
