Ellis' long-term future in the NFL?

Just curious, but how many of you could easily picture Ellis taking the same position as Gene Upshaw held? I just believe he will wind up doing that after he retires.

Upshaw was a go get'er, Ellis is a sit back do nothing whinny *****. They are not equal and the NFLPA would be stupid to hire Ellis. A representative for that type of position needs to be cut throat, not a squeaky wheel.

He got a raise when he had absolutely no leverage whatsoever. I don't know what you're talking about.

Wrong, the Cowboys needed him for pass rush. That was his leverage. He didn't get any kind of large raise from what I heard, he just had his money guaranteed in case of injury.
