Thanks very much for your feedback! It’s very much appreciated!

We have a lot in common. I was a decades-long DirecTV subscriber as well until about three years ago.
I dropped it when they went to AT&T. I learned how to cut the cord.

Adding another thumbs up for YouTubeTV. I was a long time Directv subscriber. I hated it. However, living in the boonies I didn't have great internet options. Finally, about three years ago, I was able to get fiber internet. I immediately ditched directv & chose YouTubeTV. When I did, it was one of the only streaming options that carried NFL Network.

I couldn't be happier with the service. I stream to multiple tv's in my house, & shop. In 3+ years, I've never had the service crash, or lost a picture, ever. That was routine with satellite service. A good thunderstorm, or heavy snow, & I'd lose service. Consider the price tag.... it's an even better option. I'm spending less cash per month, & feel like I've received better service overall.

I've had one hiccup. Though I must say it was VERY annoying. This season, a few of the Monday night games would broadcast in Spanish, & I couldn't do anything to change them to English. I was watching the English version, it even showed Aikman & Buck talking, but the audio was spanish. The ads, & everything else were in English but the game commentary came through in spanish. Weird. Then randomly, sometime in the 2nd quarter it was corrected. This happened 3 times.

Cut Direct TV and went to Fubo streaming. Saw 75 % of games live and if not followed ESPN game cast and picked up recorded NFL replays

Saved mega dollars and pleased with the quality of stream

Do have the fastest 1200 mps via Xfinity so no real game delay issues
Verizon gigabyte,. You have to have at least that. To stream anything without buffering.

Same here. They were giving me Sunday Ticket for free for several years so I stayed with them. Then AT&T took over and it all went downhill. They effectively killed it in my opinion.

When I left them, I went back to cable. But it’s not nearly worth it for how little regular channels we watch.

Exactly, free NFL Sunday ticket every other season. It was like half price doing it that way. You just have to learn how to navigate the situation. Lol.

I know have an antenna for local channels. I’m looking into a DVR ,OTA recorder. Over the air. Because I like watching my news later in the day. Verizon gigabyte I think is what is really important speed, so I don’t need YouTube because that was just for local channels. Paramount plus and Disney I’m happy.

Sunday Ticket is good if you are really into fantasy football or just enjoy watching multiple football games every week.

If all you care about is watching Cowboy games, there are other means, shall we say, of doing that without having to spend hundreds of dollars.
and lets just say.... you can watch all games at the same time without spending hundreds as well.

I’m curious about possibly making the switch to YouTube TV. Are you a current subscriber that can share your opinions on it?
I switched from DirecTV to YouTube TV recently. Literally way better at a similar price. No comparison. Unlimited DVR, good amount of on demand content, etc.

Looks like my Sunday Ticket days are over . I have a sports bar set up in my man cave with several Direct TV genies .

If YouTube doesn’t allow me to stream with same account on multiple TV’s like Netflix and others then I’m done .
It does. You can stream on 3 TVs at once with the base package. The 4k package gives unlimited streams.

That sucks, sounds like they are going to force people to have YouTube TV in order to get Sunday Ticket.

I have had Sunday Ticket since the early 90s, but this could be a deal breaker for me.
You mean like how they tried forcing ppl to get DirecTV just to have Sunday Ticket? Not much difference here, just a different provider.

Still waiting to see what they do with Bally Sports before my wife and I make a decision on our current DirecTV subscription.

The only reason we have cable in the first place is so that I can watch the Cowboys, Hurricanes, Hornets, and college basketball. I exclusively stream MLB games on my laptop via MLBtv.

Like $300 for YT Subscirbers and $500 for non YT members.

The good thing about YT TV is that you can cancel membership at any time.
Do you think it will be possible to just get the Red Zone as a stand alone?

I like YouTube TV but dropped it for DirectTV Stream so I could get local sports. Now it seems Bally Sports may be imploding so I maybe there will be other options. I'd rather not pay for DirectTV and YouTube TV at the same time. If I have to choose, I'd stay with DirectTV and continue using free, "unofficial" streaming methods for NFL games.
I been looking at other streaming services. Last summer I was going to change to DTV streaming, but they gave me NFL ST free, again, but it was only on the DTV dish service. So I kept it until after the season. So was going to look again.
DTV stream still has the best channel lineup, and has all the sports channels. Not That I use all the other channels, but other people in the house do. So I must consider them as well.

YT TV seems to be the best for what I would use if by myself, but need to look more at HULU also. Except not having many sports channels such as Bally's or Big ten Network, but supposedly it is an add on.
I can still save $80 a month by going from dish to stream. and have the same exact channels. Actually $130, as I am getting $50 off a month for being a loyal customer, But that expired in 2 months, and then I need to go through the hassle of talking on the phone again to get it reduced again.
Or I could save $110 by going to YT TV, that may not be worth it for me. What I could do is to tell the others pay up the difference.

I think I will convert to DTV stream, and look at ST options as football nears. I get all the Dallas games anyway, but I like watching other games as opposed to what they show locally. I have a few months to decide.

I have AT&T fiber. Never had any issues with it. I can run 3 TV's, 3 computers, and 3 phones, ring doorbell, 3 other outside cameras. iPad or laptop if not on my computer.
Was paying $52 a month for a crappy DSL service. Was about to switch to something else. But for some reason when I was able to go to fiber, they gave me some type of discount, and now I pay $25.25 with taxes per month.

Only issue was when I had my lawn re-sodded, they cut the line. AT& came out the same day to fix it. The guy didn't seem to happy, and made some rude comment about it. I told him to learn to bury the cable deeper other wise just fix it. The line was not run correctly to begin with. This time they ran it along the fence and next to the house instead of across the middle of the yard.

Dude, you are getting like a $60/month discount on your fiber internet, if it is a 1000mbps.
