Apple backed out because they wanted to charge less and because the NFL forbids partners to use "future technology" in broadcasting its product. Apple wasn't about to agree to that for 10+ years, especially with AR in the very near future.
LOL....I'm pretty sure I said the same thing in my post

Nope. Instead you pay $50-100 a month for internet service PLUS $20 for Netflix, $10 for Hulu, $8 for Disney Plus, $7 for Paramount Plus, $10 for Amazon Prime and $15 for HBO Max

Now of course you don’t need any of that to get Sunday Ticket. But the cord cutting isn’t much different than just having cable or satellite all over again at this point
I'm assuming you are saying there's an additional cost to add Netflix, Hula, HBOMax and others? How about YT TV, NFL Sunday package and Firestick for all your premium channels? Will that work?

I need an option for only the Red Zone Channel, or my Sunday Ticket days are over.

In fact, I'm considering checking out of the NFL altogether. It's a shell of its former self.

vpn.....you could get any cities program. Might be workaround for games.
Most people will just skim over this 'tip' or not have a clue as to what a VPN is but, if you're just looking to watch Cowboy's games, there's absolutely zero need to be dropping cash on Sunday Ticket until YT finds a way to block VPNs...if it's even possible. Having YTTV, I can watch local programming from anywhere by just inputting that cities zip into my VPN prior to launching YTTV.

Now, if you're an NFL fan/fantasy football nut, the Ticket is your most reliable method, for watching every game minus blackouts.

Here is some great info and the worry about commercial use is a moot point. That’s out for bidding right now. It will affect non commercial users who try to have a commercial setup though.

Yes, NFL Sunday Ticket is moving to YouTube for the 2023 NFL season.

NFL Sunday Ticket is officially leaving DIRECTV. When the NFL returns for its 2023 regular season, YouTube TV and YouTube Primetime Channels will be the new home to out-of-market NFL games.
The NFL and Google (YouTube’s parent company) struck the seven-year broadcast deal in December 2022, worth around $2.2 billion per season. While many details are still unknown, we’ll highlight some of the biggest questions surrounding the streaming deal below.

Who will carry NFL Sunday Ticket in 2023?

YouTube will carry NFL Sunday Ticket in 2023. During the next seven years, YouTube TV and YouTube’s Primetime Channels hub will offer NFL Sunday Ticket as a premium add-on.

Pro tip: NFL Sunday Ticket through YouTube is available only to US residents. Most NFL fans outside the US can access live games through NFL Game Pass International—the main exception being Canada, where games stream on DAZN.

YouTube TV

YouTube TV is a live TV streaming service that offers 100+ channels for $64.99 per month. By subscribing to NFL Sunday Ticket through YouTube TV, you’ll pay for out-of-market access on top of the standard YouTube TV monthly fee.
The great thing about YouTube TV is its base plan has NFL channels like CBS, ESPN, FOX, NBC, and NFL Network. This selection means you won’t miss crucial in-market and primetime games during the regular season—including Sunday Night Footballand Monday Night Football matchups. Plus, you’ll get access to select preseason games, every NFL playoff game, and the Super Bowl.
GET YOUTUBE TV

YouTube Primetime Channels

The YouTube Primetime Channels storefront operates like Amazon Prime Video’s add-on channels. You can subscribe to popular streaming services like Paramount+ and SHOWTIME within the main YouTube site, allowing you to watch premium content alongside your favorite viral videos.

Signing up for NFL Sunday Ticket through Primetime Channels is ideal if you already have an existing TV plan elsewhere. Since channels are à la carte, you won’t need a YouTube TV subscription—and you can dodge paying an extra $64.99 per month for a service you don’t need.
The main disadvantage to Primetime Channels is that you won’t have in-app access to live networks that show NFL games. You also won’t have the same DVR features as YouTube TV.

Prepare for NFL Sunday Ticket’s streaming future

Streaming live sports can still come with its fair share of latency issues—meaning you’ll want the best internet speeds to watch your favorite teams compete in real time.
Enter your zip code below to find the best internet providers available in your area.

How much will NFL Sunday Ticket cost on YouTube?

When NFL Sunday Ticket moves to YouTube TVahead of the 2023 NFL season, its pricing should be similar to what it was through DIRECTV. The NFL’s in-market broadcasting deals with CBS and FOXrequire that out-of-market access comes at a premium price. However, YouTube may offer different subscription tiers for NFL Sunday Ticket, like how MLB.TV and NBA League Pass offer single-team plans.
Under DIRECTV, a basic NFL Sunday Ticket subscription costs $293.94 per season. The satellite TV provider also offered a higher-tiered NFL Sunday Ticket package—called NFL Sunday Ticket MAX—for $395.94 per season. This premium plan came equipped with DIRECTV’s RED ZONE CHANNEL and FANTASY ZONE network.

What features will NFL Sunday Ticket have on YouTube?

With NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube, you’ll have access to sports features already available in the YouTube TV app—including views dedicated to stats/scores, key plays, and game highlights.
Most features seen in the YouTube TV app will also become available in the main YouTube app for those who get NFL Sunday Ticket through Primetime Channels. In an interview with The Verge, YouTube Chief Product Officer Neal Mohan also revealed that a multiscreen feature is on its way, allowing fans to enjoy multiple Sunday afternoon games simultaneously.
Besides out-of-market games, the NFL usually packages NFL Sunday Ticket rights with a minority interest in NFL Media. It’s unclear if YouTube gained a stake in NFL Network, NFL RedZone, and NFL.comthrough the recent deal—but the streaming service did extend its carriage agreement for NFL Network and NFL RedZone.

Can bars and restaurants get NFL Sunday Ticket in 2023?
Yes, bars and restaurants can get NFL Sunday Ticketfor the 2023 NFL season. The league retained the rights to distribute the out-of-market package to businesses, meaning a TV provider other than YouTube TV will carry NFL Sunday Ticket for commercial venues.

The NFL retained commercial rights for NFL Sunday Ticket because most bars and restaurants don’t have the necessary setup to stream live sports. Many venues don’t have fast and reliable internet, let alone the bandwidth to stream several games simultaneously.

Looks like my Sunday Ticket days are over . I have a sports bar set up in my man cave with several Direct TV genies .

If YouTube doesn’t allow me to stream with same account on multiple TV’s like Netflix and others then I’m done .
I’m pretty sure you can. I have unlimited streams at my home address.

Remember when all of these "curd cutting" options were originally meant to be a cheaper option than traditional cable?

It still is. I was paying $200+ for DIRECTV and now I’m paying $64.99 for YTTV and $9.99 for 4K/unlimited streams/offline viewing and 14.99 for NBA League Pass

Sunday Ticket is good if you are really into fantasy football or just enjoy watching multiple football games every week.

If all you care about is watching Cowboy games, there are other means, shall we say, of doing that without having to spend hundreds of dollars.

I like YouTube TV but dropped it for DirectTV Stream so I could get local sports. Now it seems Bally Sports may be imploding so I maybe there will be other options. I'd rather not pay for DirectTV and YouTube TV at the same time. If I have to choose, I'd stay with DirectTV and continue using free, "unofficial" streaming methods for NFL games.

NFL Sunday Ticket is coming soon
Need more football this fall? We got you. Starting this upcoming 2023 NFL season, you’ll be able to add NFL Sunday Ticket to your membership to watch every out-of-market Sunday afternoon game.

Members will be eligible for special early offers in the spring, so keep a lookout for emails with more news coming your way soon.
I think it’s going to be more than what DIRECT TV charged. Know that I learned how to stream the games without it.

About the same. I watch sports, and stock market news during the day. Rarely other regular tv shows.
Netflix, HBO Max, get Hulu free with TMoble phone service. And have Amazon Prime.
Though I am about to suspend Netflix for a while until they get better shows on it.

with the Roku, as that is the platform on my TV, I get a lot of free other apps. For movies and tv shows. FreeVee which is part of Prime, Filmrise, Watch Free Flix or something like that, Crackle. Tubi.

I plan to dump DTV over the summer, as soon as I researched, again, what I think works best. Like I did last summer. YT TV. Was actually mine I was looking at and even DTV Stream was ok but still more expensive that YT. If myself only I would have done it already. As that was my plan after football was over. But I had to keep DTV on dish to get ST for free. Now I can choose what I want. It don’t want to go YT TV just for the games.
I have other people in the house also that want and need certain channels. Plus all the crap on the DVR. I think I will tell them they have until September to clear it all out. However they can re record it, it is all repetitive shows.
I had T-Mobile for the past 30 years. I didn’t know you could get Hulu for free. Verizon, Vios, gigabyte Internet. Paramount plus. Prime video free and Disney, antenna for local stations. I have six lines for 110 bucks a month. Military discount. I can have 10 lines at $10 each after my first two . at $30 each.
I was paying 220 for Verizon TV and Internet. I just keep the Internet at $75. I don’t drink or smoke. So my entertainment is probably $250 a month total. Includes Internet phone and TV. Not house phone T-Mobile. I was going to lock in $25 a month for life for the Internet but it wasn’t fast enough.
