Actually, it's probably a popular opinion inside the team circles. It's my understanding Zeke has quietly become one of the most respected leaders in the locker room and inside the Star. Whatever happens, look for MM, Jerry, and Stephen to treat this with a soft landing. How many times have we heard Jerry and Stephen attach warrior to his name?
- Witten was seen as a respectful leader too .... but the spider webs of father time had crept all over him. no burst ..
- Ditto with Tyrone Crawford as he was seen as a highly well liked locker room leader too. and donated near 18 million his last 2 years for mediocre play.
- Even Emmitt NFL's all time rushing leader.came to a very slow crawl when he simply could not quickly hit the holes in-out between the tackles.- Walking Dead.
- Dez Bryant, never a route-wiz simply could not gain separation vs coverage.. for all his alpha-spirit, he can't make plays to justify his roster stay.
- It's a business,.. it's a nature and part of the business, .the good ole buddy scenario are ultimate progress stoppers
as Jimmie Johnson used to say:... "
I like you, so long as you are making plays "
