Jerry sending his minions out to spread his gospel.
Actually, it's probably a popular opinion inside the team circles. It's my understanding Zeke has quietly become one of the most respected leaders in the locker room and inside the Star. Whatever happens, look for MM, Jerry, and Stephen to treat this with a soft landing. How many times have we heard Jerry and Stephen attach warrior to his name?

I am sure Zeke is respected and well liked, but the film don't lie. Players still want to win and have the best chance to get to the SB.

Remember him........where is Stash????:lmao2::lmao2:

I tried to document this in the past. All I will say is that Tyrone Crawford spent years as sone of the absolute worst value in the history of the NFL. He is a poster child for the issues this team has and the dysfunction of the front office. He should not be allowed to show his face in public.

Both need to go. Neither are franchise type backs. Pollard is perfect in the role of 12 carries plus a few targets a game but struggles when he gets tired a d needs another back to help carry the load. 6 a year is ok but he likely wants more. Like murray there is a limit and they shoukd let someone else pay him.

Emmitt Smith: Cowboys need to find a way to keep Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliott

(sigh) ... Zeke ? . ... is this a legit analysis ? .. or another bias, good ole buddy cheer-vote ?

Maybe which explains why Emmitt is not on the front set of major NFL shows anymore

If the team is content with 3 yards and a cloud of dust with literally no threat of an explosive play, have at it. Interesting how the rest of the league doesn't follow that memo.

This is the problem with not having the correct structure in place in the front office. Feelings get involved, and you wind up releasing players for no good reason(Cooper), while you hold on to others(Zeke) hoping to recapture great moments from the past.

- Witten was seen as a respectful leader too .... but the spider webs of father time had crept all over him. no burst ..

- Ditto with Tyrone Crawford as he was seen as a highly well liked locker room leader too. and donated near 18 million his last 2 years for mediocre play.

- Even Emmitt NFL's all time rushing leader.came to a very slow crawl when he simply could not quickly hit the holes in-out between the tackles.- Walking Dead.

- Dez Bryant, never a route-wiz simply could not gain separation vs coverage.. for all his alpha-spirit, he can't make plays to justify his roster stay.

- It's a business,.. it's a nature and part of the business, .the good ole buddy scenario are ultimate progress stoppers

as Jimmie Johnson used to say:... " I like you, so long as you are making plays "

Do we want to actually try and win Super Bowls or do we want to be a country club with exclusive membership?

2 RBs that can't get to the edge is not a winning plan.
Right here is the real problem. Why do they have to incessantly show they have to/can "get to the edge".

Because our o-line sucks...that's why.

Even Pollards speed is crutched....showcasing speed to the edge when he should be chewing yards UP the field. No holes no push. No downfield pancaking. Just a mess of a wall.

Who cares. He sucks at playing RB.

There are plays to be made and he’s too slow to even get to the hole before it closes.

All his production just comes from the massive amount of volume the Cowboys give him.

It’s time for fresh legs.
