Every time I watch old clips of Emmitt, the phrase "efficiency of movement" pops into my head. He had very little flash and every movement had a purpose. He was just a pleasure to watch.

......and for the most part knew how to avoid the big hit.

Instinctively knew what defenses were gonna give him, if that makes sense.

Special is an understatement, IMO. If you were around for the Dorsett Era you had the pleasure of seeing it again, only better.

What was great about Emmitt was that he ALWAYS seems to get 6-10 yards AFTER the defenders started to gang tackle him and he kept the pile moving forward. That is exactly OPPOSITE of a recent RB we've had that got "tripped up" over and over and over again like a horse that snapped three of its legs. What a breath of fresh air that video was. There was even a Dat Nguyen sighting!
