They have a very close relationship. One of the first things Emmitt did when he was drafted was asked Jerry if he could sit in on Jerry's business calls because he wanted to learn from the best on how to handle business.

Moose was the most logical choice because he lead the way throughout Emmitt's career. But you can't argue with Jerry as his choice. Jerry did a fine job with Irvin's intro. Too bad Jerry couldn't have introduced all 3 Triplets, but Norv Turner was logical for Aikman.
