Enough about Peyton Manning and his greatness

Thats not been the case this season. Teams have pressured him plenty, but he's still beat them.

Peyton is great, the greatest ever. He's achieved perfection this season and we will all see it after the Colts go undefeated.

This man is on a business this season. He heard a crap load of criticism this offseason and worked his butt off to improve on things that kept killing him.

Peyton Manning = greatness.

greatest what ever? number hanger in unimportant games? he needs to win a few superbowls before even getting close to joe or tom or dan in the past couple decades alone. he's had many chances and has zilch to show for (dan had only one shot really as a rookie).

Oh, he will win the big one one day.
But his time is getting shorter.
Romo on the other hand is just beginning.
And Romo, I bet, will one day be menioned in the same breath as Manning.

Can we at least wait to see if he can actually play at a high level for whats left of this season before we write his ticket to the hall of fame?

  • Yes he has a rocket arm(as he lets us know in one of his many commercials)
  • Yes he can audible real GREAT(if he were a Cowboy then they would create an excessive audiblizing rule) thats for another thread
  • Yes he has great WR's
No HE CANNOT play well when you pressure him and bust him up... he aint the almighty... he is a QB and he can lose and he will lose

He's getting it done this year, no matter what defenses throw at him. Give it up. You sound absolutely ignorant. He is the best QB in this league, BY FAR, if not the best player!

Laser rocket arm may not be "clutch" by our standards, but he is the greatest QB talent in the history of the game. When his career is done, regardless of how many titles he may or may not win, any discussion about the greatest offensive player in football history will begin and end with #18.

Yes, there will never be another QB like Peyton...in all of history to come...he will never be replaced...

He is the greatest at everyting he does....forever and forever...

If I was his daddy, I would have named him SuperManning...nobody will ever beat his team again, not Sunday, or forever...

I'm the biggest Romo fan there is; but can we let him finish the season, and perhaps even two, before we start saying things like this?

I agree - he's going to be a good quarterback. I think he makes a great starter. But let's give him some time for crying out loud.

Not that your assesment is wrong; I want to say I agree with it, but the comparisons are off base becaues he hasn't played a full year so I'll hold off with the Manning comparisons.
