Enough

Funny thing is... I don't see a lot of chicken little season is over bull****. I see frustrated fans that have been having relatively civil discussions over the past few days to help each other get over an incredibly disappointing showing by our team. There's a little, fire everybody, cut choice, season is over idiocy mixed in but, from what I have seen, it pales in comparison to the two way healing that has been taking place. Sorry if we all can't just watch a disappointing loss as if we were staring at paint dry.

Really, because this is what I have been seeing!

Honestly though, it should all be acceptable behavior as long as it stays civil. If that one rule applied then it would all be good.

But preaching the 'staying the course' mantra for a team in the midst of its' longest championship drought in franchise history is the 'reasonable way to go' huh?

It's the same story every year, anyone complains about anything and it's a 'knee-jerk reaction', no matter how many years of it we've seen.

And any changes anyone mentions gets taken to the Nth degree of extremism, whether it's accurate or not. All in a desparate attempt to undermine another person's point of view.

Bingo.....

Wait.. Let me do better...

:hammer:

I agree, Bleu. There is a little of the idiocy demanding the firing of coaches and cutting of players, but there's an equal amount of denial going on. I'm not suicidal over one loss, especially considering the positives I saw. But there are reasons the team finds ways screw up, and it's not coincidental that it keeps happening.

Nah, 'commitment to mediocrity' is working great so far....
Hey, there's a spot on the Raiders bandwagon where they have a commitment to excellence.

Or is it excrement?

It is Wednesday and the stupidity in this place continues. Yes, we're all upset we lost, but move on. Did you expect us to go undefeated? I think not. Losses happen. It was not our night on Sunday. Deal with it.

Enough with the name calling and clever insulting nicknames that have been made up for our coaches.

Enough with the "we're done" crap.

Enough with calling for coaches' heads. (Calling for Alex Barron's is acceptable.)

Enough with thinking anything we say or do will convince Jerry he needs to trade our future away for a guard or tackle or ball boy, or fire Wade after one game or replace Jason Garrett.

I've seen more stupid threads made by people I have never seen before this week than ever before.

Need I remind you that this same coaching staff took the Cowboys to 11-5 last year? And our first playoff win in how ever many years it was?

Have a little faith.

Stop acting like a bunch of eagles with their heads cut off. You're embarrassing us with the idiocy. Love and defend the star. Move on. Enjoy the upcoming days to the Bears game. If you can't do that and continue with the stupid threads, please leave.

We don't mind criticism, just do it with some common sense. We're not Commanders fans.

YOU'RE NOT THE BOSS OF ME!!

I don't think there is anything wrong with people being upset with how the team played or questioning players or coaches, as far as I'm concerned they all share the responsibility. When you start talking about firing coaches cutting players after the 1st game that is non sense

There is far more whining and complaining going on than "stay the course" and it hasn't gotten us any closer to breaking the drought.

But if doom and gloom, the sky is falling works best for you, more power to you.

It is the overreaction hollering to fire the HC or OC after week 1 give me a break Dallas is not going to throw away 15 game of a season because some whiny fans thinks he knows how to run a football team and thinks he has the answerers. There is no thinking it is the same over reaction as it always is by the same people who show time and again they have no self control but lead by their own weak emotions.

You must not have read my post. I don't see much of that. Can you direct me to the threads?

Seriously man... Please show me where the fire the coaches, cutting players threads/posts have dominated the board... (outside of the reference in my sig... which is therapy for me) I just haven't seen it. Perhaps I am blind.

With your excrement comment, you could be referring to both the Raiders and the Cowboys?

Well, you were warned that doing that could make that happen.

:D

Yeah there is a small group of people doing that, but for the most part all the "realists" just see the clearer picture. It's a given that firing the coaches mid season isn't an option. Cutting Choice after one fumble? Stupid. At the same time, we're not sweeping this apparent problem under the rug just because it's the 1st game. This is an ongoing problem here with Dallas.

A big fire breaks out at a party:

Homer: Keeps dancing under the sprinkler system.
Realist: Grabs a fire extinguisher to put it out.
Chicken Little: Runs out side and sets dynamite by the building and blows it all up, including everyone inside.

I didn't expect undefeated but beating a 4-win team in the midst of a complete overhaul would have been something I expected.

No, you're not blind. Self proclaimed "Real" fans, like the one you responded to, will make things up to fit their own agenda.
