very true. it seems that way. crazy. u would think the opposite would happen. Dak believes maybe to a fault that he is the best player on the field. He isn't playing like it lately and I hate that.

It's similar to the Lions now with Calvin Johnson gone. Stafford is now having his best year he's ever had. You get everyone involved and the offense moves better. With Dez, you feel you have to force feed him the ball. And it just drags the offense down. This offense works best when Beasley and Witten are moving us down the field. Dez is all or nothing. You can't count on him to be that consistent.

It kind of starts with our QB - Dak. He was so off, those 3rd down conversions were extremely difficult. He had a direct hand in those putrid conversion rates.

Other factors are involved as well.....weather, Dez, situational play-calling, missing the normal 12 personnel package, etc. Bottom line......Dak was so ineffective that it threw off the whole team and nothing could get going because Prescott played his worst game of the season.

He has a chance to make this game an outlier next week at home, hopefully this was an anomaly

I suspect the Lions would DIE to have Megatron back.

Dez is our home-run hitter and our #1 receiver. We need him, esp. in the playoffs.

Credit the Giants for shutting him down but it's still hard to wrap my head around how 8 passes yielded 0 production and a whole lot of pain.

It was a colossal disaster on offense and special teams. Penalties, unforced errors, drops, play-calling. So many long 3rd downs and atrocious 3rd down conversion rate.

Made it look so easy on the one TD drive but even with 3 NY turnovers couldn't even come close to scoring again, except for the missed FG before half. Hope it'll serve as a wake up call, but it's been 2 weeks in a row now.

Homefield advantage isn't a sure thing now and neither is a bye or even the division. Probably need to win 2 of the last 3.

The offense was better without Dez.

Period.

Call me crazy all you want. It's the truth.

Absolutely. This offense had weapons galore before Dez returned. Now we force him the ball and he's hit and miss.

This **** comes from Jerry. He coddles these headcases. He let Deion get away with murder. He's doing the same with Dez.

The offense was better without Dez--when playing the 49ers, Bengals and Packers. But I seriously doubt we can get to where we need to go without the big plays that Dez can deliver.

It is true, perhaps, that against certain match-ups Dak needs to look more at other targets.

That's not going to fly with our GM. We are forcing the ball to Dez. I bet you anything that comes from Jerry. He has no football sense. None. Plus, Dez basically has the mind of a child. If we don't keep forcing him the ball I can see **** hitting the fan.

Or were the defenses we played worse?

The defenses were worse but the chemistry we had on offense is gone. We've got this head case who shows up when he feels like it yet we force him the ball every single game.

That will screw up any offense.
