Eric Davis Nailed It

But the team fights for him, RKOG, process etc

Right, the process. I'm not ashamed to say I was one who believed in Redball and his process. I have since figured out that the process means nothing if the ultimate goal is to whoop the guy in front of you. First whip the guy in front of you and then follow the process. These Cowboys are not doing that on every play.

Excuses? You are the one blaming the playcalling on the QB instead of the HC or OC. In the long line of hysteria against Romo, I think that's a first.

no. JG deserves tons of blame as well...im just ok w him calling romo out

And I thought it was a bush league move made by an inexperienced coach desperate to save his own skin. Even if Romo changed every single play call all day long, if you can't reign in your players you have no business coaching in the NFL.

And as the OP said, I don't remember the last time we scored a big TD and Garrett went up to the podium and said "I had a draw play called, but Romo switched it to the slant to Beasely so we scored."

two different discussions here...romo takes the brunt of the blame when it comes to late game interceptions and not being clutch...thats not what im discussing here...im talking game management...Garrett has taken the heat for romo many times...he has had enough of Romo checking out of obvious running plays and screwing it up

He should have had enough of it coming out at half time. The HC is responsible for game management, not the QB.

the QB is not responsible for managing the game? really?

I might of missed it, but did anyone catch from Garrett if we did some good things in that game despite the loss, or was it just bad this time. Not sure so I need to hear it from JG.

I mean, obviously I don't like Garrett and was never sold on him from the start. But this just still burns me up even the next day. I can't believe he so blatantly threw his QB under the bus like that .

Agree with you..but here is a thought. Is there any chance that Garrett was really trying to take a swipe at Jerry? Jerry is the one insisting that Romo has more say, I'm sure Jerry wants Romo to be able to check out of a play at the line of scrimmage. Could this possibly be Garrett saying...."Jerry, this is what you want, so live with it". I dont know...just asking.

They are going to fire him, I don't think there's much doubt. IMO, horrible clock management cost the Detroit and GB games. I don't care that Romo changed the play, that shouldn't even be an option at that point. A strong, competent head coach emphasizes that in the headset during the call. What kind of offense sees a defense loaded to one side and doesn't have a run play to the other side anyway?

So the Cowboys will can this clown, but the biggest problem, The Jones family, still remains. It's a vicious cycle, I'm telling ya.

This.

He's not the only coward.

I'm willing to call Romo the same thing. After virtually every INT you see him screaming at the target wide receiver. He always does that, even when it's his fault. His mannerisms and posture are lacking. Someone needs to tell this bozo that for a leader body language is everything.
