20 million is nothing. We will have to sign Diggs soon and then there is Parsons.

You just do not understand how dire the cap situation is going to be. We just draft too well for our own good.

They need a big chunk of that $20 million to have to roll over into next year. They are $12 million over the cap for next year.

They will have to re-sign Diggs next year. If he has another great season, we're toast. Lamb we have 2-more years of inexpensive play and Parsons 3 because we will have their 1st rd pick options.

That said, the REALLY scary thing is that the levers we have for next season are re-structuring Dak, Lawrence and T. Smith. Smith...prob not going ot hapen now.

We all know who the new LT is going to be. We're all gonna have a Ball.
Nah. It will be the new T Smith. I guess Ball could do it for a week or so, but they drafted Tyler Smith for this very reason.

I agree and it's what I would do but I just don't think it will happen. I think they'll play Ball at LT and keep a TE in his pocket.

This is from an old article when it was first reported that he was not going to re-sign with Indianapolis.

I'm torn - on the one hand, yeah I'm not interested in paying 8-10M for that type of performance.

On the other hand - Carson Wentz is a terrible QB to have to block for - he's the kind of guy who will make an OL worse.
Exactly.

He holds the ball too long and makes terrible decisions.

So you make him an offer he can't refuse.

You would think that that great drafting and all of those great contracts would produce great results on the field. They are paid like champions, but they never win championships. It don’t add up.

They need to sign someone before next week so the guy can get a full two or three weeks to get acclimated[/QUOTE

You are torn? On both hands it sounds like you are out. You want to go for "in-house"?

Problem solved lol
Switch Ridgeway to T, they're basically the same guy.
It worked with Mark Tuinei.

They may be waiting for cut downs before doing anything. Daks finger nails will be down to the quick before we solve this problem.
