Interesting option.

32, had 117 tackles last season. I've seen articles that note while he had the aforementioned tackles, his impact may not of warranted him being on the roster this year for 6.5mil.

Curious to see how much SJ opens up his purse for the team to spend on free agents and how much EK would be looking for, as at 32, this is probably his last contract.

This guy has Cowboys signing written all over him...... a former Zim player at a position of need. Could be a low-cost starter.....

https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/los-angeles-chargers/eric-kendricks-16769/#:~:text=Current Contract,average annual salary of $6,625,000.
So his contract value is only $5-6M

As a matter of fact.....sign all three ( Hunter is unlikely )

He is the type of player we will sign, but shouldn't. Kendricks at this stage doesnt make us much if any better. But he is a cheap player, who is a name fans know

Jerrah has never really been one to sign players that have connections to his coaches even though they seem to be an upgrade. Probably won't start now.

If you read the Chargers message board, they think he is done. Comments such as 'can see why Vikings let him go' 'Should have hung his cleats up'.

Exactly the kind of move we should not make.

Yea, my fear as well. Not too many linebackers age gracefully after 30. Rather try for a LB in his mid to late 20's that could give 2-3 years of good play.
Not sold on Cashman, but he's an example of a 28 year old LB, that had little wear and tear his first few years in the NFL.

We already tried a move like this a couple seasons ago. Didn't work out.
