I really did figure it would be drugs; very surprised. There had been no rumors about her being sick like that; but then maybe she was one of those that find out THAT way. It does happen- depending on what type it was and where.
I apologize to you brother if you thought I was calling you out. I really was not pointing the finger at any one person, just a general wish for patience in these matters. I'm aware she had fell on harder times. It would not have been surprising if drugs had played a role in her death but I thought it best to not make a rush to judgement. I last recall seeing her in Fit Club and she wasn't well then.

It's very sad. However it happened.

Doing drugs can lead to cancer... I'm not saying that's what happened. But it's possible.
Drugs are mixed with chemicals that cause cancer.

The fact there were no rumors makes it very interesting; but in the end does it really make a difference? At least she is at peace; which on viewing how her life had been since the 80's is certainly more than she had.

The funny thing is yeah, we're hearing stage 4 cancer and feeding tubes and then we're hearing from folks that said, "Hey I just saw her last week and she seemed fine!"

I've seen folks in stage 4 with feeding tubes and the week before they didn't look "fine."

feeding tubes- that has to be either done in a hospital or under direct medical supervision I thought.

Read where her and her husband laid down and watched TV holding hands, when he awoke she had passed on. So sad..........

beginning to sound like she knew it was coming. That maybe she had been hiding it. If that was the case she found out about it to late for anything to be done. If all that supposition was true she was a lot stronger than I gave her credit for being. RIP Joanie.
