Ernest Borgnine has died

A terrific actor.

"Emperor of the North" is one of my all-time favorites. One of the greatest movies– ever IMO.

One of my father's favorites also.

Sorry to hear of this.
 
What a wonderful man he was. He's remembered as being a clown but he was a serious actor when he wanted to be.

I would say so... they don't give Oscars out for free... he earned it for his role in Marty... a FANTASTIC piece of work and a legacy for him...

Yeah, I saw that after he was a TV regular inc McHale's and it was hard to reconcile. A great performance. Did you see him interview with O'Reilly?
 
This is a tough one, i hate to see the old guys go, makes me feel my own mortality i guess.

Blast from the past there. Loved that show as a kid.

I always remember him in Superfuzz too.
