Many of you were non-stop ripping on these guys for disappearing. Oddly enough, when a real functioning QB played this weekend, both had good games.

Both are good options in this offense and will continue to get lots of opportunities that Weeden was finally kicked to the curb and Cassel is back where he belongs, on the bench.

Both of those posers simply dumped off to RBs WAY too often or took dumb sacks. Not a lot of opportunities were there for receptions down the field when a QB can barely manage his way out of a wet paper bag.

lol, good to see the call out posts are back. All it took was one win.

I just wanted to add that until you have seen an NFL game at eye level it is truly amazing, think ants on a sugar hill.I used to go to some practices and it is totally different. You wonder how the qb ever sees anything these behemoths are all in front of him the cracks are really small.I remember that when Warren Moon through the ball it was always on the money and then the second string guy was high, low or behind with the ball. The window is small to begin with and closes rapidly. When those guys blitz the speed of the game is beyond words. These guys are like huge gazelles. The speed is amazing.

As happy as I was about the win and Romo being back, still a bit perturbed seeing Osweiler, Yates, and Hasselback all winning Sunday.

To be fair, you need to look at the entire game. Colts returned a pick for a TD and won by 3. Denver has an amazing D and also won the turnover differential but Oswelier did play well and it was against a pretty bad Bears team. The Texans were playing Fitzpatrick and won the turnover battle as well. When you have your back up QB in the game, the team around them has to step up their play, ours didn't without Tony. Dropped passes, dropped interceptions, missed tackles, Special team returns for TDs, etc. For whatever reason, the team just plays better with Tony in the lineup, they make those plays typically. Its odd really. It didn't help matters that we played some of the best QBs in the league in the games that Tony missed either.

I'd like to see one game where witten sits just so i can see what escobar can do with 8-10 targets. How good is he? Is he a JAG or is he a diamond in the rough.

When his contract is up he will start for somebody just like the others. He's probably the best receiver of the bunch. (of Witten's backups)
