I am sure some people consider me an <Terrell Owens secret Admirer>.

Personally, I dont give a flying <Gibbs>.

But at the same time, that doesnt entitle me to be a vigilante. Hell, I would love to live my life as Batman.

As far as how it all went down, I think we are on the same page.

:D that was fun

Getting upset because someone talks trash during a football game is acting like a baby. Just letting you know.

I was talking about when Gurode went to take his knee's out, and then after the play Gurode told Haynesworth "I'm gonna take your *** out", when asked why he didnt "block him like a man"

Like I said I dont know what really happened, but if it happened the way Haynesworth said, that is messed up and I could see why he did what he did. Stomping on a guys face is a bit much, but you cant just let that go. Thats your career right there if someone takes your knee out while chop blocking on purpose.

I know someone who's father coached in the NFL for a number of years and his cousin plays today. He was telling me that this type of talk happens all of the time. People will line up and say "your wife really looked sexy while she was xxxxx to me" or "your mom is a great xxxxx" basically anything to piss the other guy off because it would get in his head and get them to stop thinking about playing the game.

This is obviously what happend to him. He let them get in his head and he lost perspective on the game. What is interesting is that whoever talked trash in that game caused this guys entire life to turn inside out...wow. Trash talking is more than just a guy being an idiot, it is a way to win football games. When you are gutting out every play at the physical level that these guys are, the psychological warfare is as much of the game as the physical battle.

I doubt Haynesworth story because it didn't come out when the event occurred. I first heard him mention a possible cut block the day he was coming back from suspension. That was 5 weeks after the incident. Now he seems to remember even more about it. It just comes across as if he is making things up to justify his actions.

His actions by the way go against what he says. He says, "Why can't you block me like a man?" What is so manly about stomping on a guys head while his helmet is off and he is lying on the ground?

It is true that we will never know the exactly what happened that entire game, but I don't think Haynesworth has earned the benefit of the doubt. He has a history of being a short fused jerk.

Keep in mind that the stomping is not even the worst act. Almost everyone seems to forget that he actually took the time to bend over and remove Gurode's helmet first.

You beat me to it. I was just about to say he kicked Gurode's helmet off then stomped him.
