News: ESPN Analyst Has Blunt Message For Dak Prescott, Cowboys

Oh, I understand. I just like to hurt em with numbers, because the mental gymnastics they have to play to convince themselves that their opinion on Dak somehow overshadows the actual numbers is fun to watch.
From the first snap until the last everything in between is called football. Yes Prescott is fun to watch. He has one more fourth-quarter comebacks than any quarterback since he has been in the league. It isn’t that when the games are really one in fourth quarter. With some people think those are garbage points. When is actually winning points.

Don't you usually tell people that Mahomes is overrated, he sucks, and Dak is better though?
If you look at the numbers for Prescott’s rookie season. He has better numbers than Mahomes had in 2020. And not by a little bit. That was the only year with this team wasn’t in some kind of turmoil. I can’t wait for the season it should be a great one.

He'll probably get all puffy chest and lose a posting bet again and he'll be gone for a minute like last time.
We should appreciate his brief times here.

Him yelling stupid stuff at the wind like an old man getting angry that his pee is hitting him in the face because the wind is stronger than his stream.
Not shocked that Winward was the first person to "Like" your analogy.

Did you look at these numbers before you said that? Because I HIGHLY doubt you did lol

People will use every statistics they can fine to feed their analogy. I know we have a winner under center. Obviously .the locker room Is where that matters most. I’m still not sure we’re going to win with McCarthy. I hope it’s not a waste of the season with him on the sidelines

Me either...that was some of the worst coaching I've seen in a long time around here. I mean I think that was worse than the Campo era. And while I think Mike is a good coach......something is off. I don't know if he's fighting using analytics or proving he likes analytics or what but last year was just OFF. And I'm questioning his judgement thinking Nolan was a good hire.

Those facts are entirely irrelevant because a) they're not predictive and b) they're not compared to other quarterbacks and teams .

The Bucs were 1-5 against playoff teams in the regular season last year. By my math, that's a considerably worse win percentage than 5-13.

24 turnovers by Dak? Is he talking about other players on offense fumbling like Zeke? I cry BS.

As far as the SB nonsense, I dont hear many predicting a SB. Neither did Dak by the way.

Isnt Olofsky an Wentz and Eagles fan?

I’m actually looking at them right now. In fact and I really don’t appreciate. The lack of my integrity. I don’t make things up my cowboy brother. I may forget things And say so. Too many games too many seasons. Maybe you should go look

I see the guys who do not like Dak quarterbacks are still up to their old crap.

Dak as a player has been bad against playoff teams also. 'The stats do not lie.

Here's a little snippet from an article after the horrible 2019 season that you can easily find by Googling "Dak vs Playoff Teams"

"Last season, the Cowboys went 8-8 while Prescott threw 30 touchdowns to 11 interceptions. However, 22 of those TDs, and just 3 of those INTs, came against teams that missed the postseason. Prescott led the team to a 7-2 record in such contests. However, when facing teams that made the playoffs, the Cowboys went a miserable 1-6, and Prescott tossed 8 scores and 8 picks."

So let me ask you did you watch those 2019 games? Which game did we lose to a playoff team and you bought "Man....that Garrett coached us to a W"?

I never denied Dak has been bad against playoff teams. I Just don't believe he's the sole reason for why the Cowboys are bad.

Cowboys under Garrett had no chance of beating a playoff team. Garrett was not capable of coaching us to beat teams better than us. That requires actual coaching. Garrett for the most part did ok against teams we were suppose to beat.

New coach, new systems, wrong DC, no off season, limited training camp, lose starting QB, wrecked Oline, limited skills at QB starting every week, sudden rash of turnovers.

Pretty much believe using last year as the yardstick for this year ignores so much of why it went wrong.

Now cue the, "But, but, but, other teams didn't have this problem."

Sometimes things can go so horribly wrong, and nothing stops the downfall.

A confederacy of issues caused the crap served up last season. To expect it again is either journalistic garbage because it is the deadest time of the pro year. Or some ignore trends.

Okay... What metric convinces you that Daks rookie season was better than Mahomes 2020?
Touchdown to interception ratio. Like I said it’s the only statistic that matters.

26/5. 23/4. My apologies I was One row off. I was looking at at least 30 different role was trying to get the number straight in my head. So Mahomes threw three more touchdowns in one less interception. With the Super Bowl head coach ,Pro bowl wide receivers. And we had this Bryant. Pretty damn good if you ask me. People forget it was Prescott. That through Jason Witten and Dez Bryant the first ever played a touchdown catches. Look I don’t have a problem that you don’t like him. But your reasoning just doesn’t hold up

I just posted the stats. Your opinions on Garrett doesn't excuse the absolute trash play of Dak.

NEVER holds up. Not even close.

Garbage Wins against Garbage teams.
Garbage time stats.
Garbage QB!
Garbage results!
The new Dak contract will go down as one of the biggest blunders since the Sox's sold Babe Ruth to the Yankees.

P.S. To all the Dak(Garbage King of QB) homers one word of advice.....get your excuses ready!!!!:omg:
I thought you got banned from here?

We lost our starting Thailand, are starting wide receiver, are starting left tackle . And starting center. And Elliot was in turmoil. And we’ve been downhill sense. Look what happened to Mahomes in the Super Bowl being shut out because he lost less than that. If that was it and embarrassment. How can you credit one for the same thing. But not discredit both for the same thing
