IRVING, Texas -- With George Selvie slowed by a thumb injury, Anthony Spencer could make his first start since 2012. Spencer has played in nine straight games in a reserve role after missing the first three contests as he worked his way back from microfracture knee surgery that limited him to just one game last season. Spencer has yet to start a game at defensive end in his career with the Dallas Cowboys using him as an outside linebacker in their 3-4 scheme from 2007-12.

So much for him getting cut after last week's Laughgate.....

oh my gosh please no. Spencer freaking sucks lls. He is getting owned too much. Offers no passrush. And there was some people who said he was getting better than ware LMAO.

I don't consider this a good thing. It's pretty apparent to me the Spencer is done.
Is there any difference between Spencer and Selvie?

Melton will take some snaps at LDE is Selvie is out.

This weakest position on team. Selvie came in heavier this year and has not been same player. Spencer looks like he has alot of difficulty moving laterally and is easy work for RBs who can sell it to inside then bounce it outside. I don't see any difference between Selvie or Spencer starting..both have been equally bad. I heard they are testing Melton at DE and that might be way to go if Josh Brent can show he can be quality rotation guy with Hayden and Crawford.

Spencer actually moved Sanchez off his spot multiple times and got off blocks to make plays against the run. He crashed inside and gave up contain once but I don't get the vitriol.

I don't either.

Spencer (while not as good as the "old" Spencer) has played better than Selvie this season.

This old soldier will hang in there with Anthony Spencer. He has the best memory of a real black 'n blue effort.
