awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i was on the fence about the Davis signing without Colombo, but with Colombo, he's a guard and replaces Rivera--so i'm psyched!

This is great news. Frees us up for the draft as well.

I'm glad to see this, and especially since we didn't have to break the bank to do it. Good news.

I knew this was a case of the "ok, see who is interested and we'll talk in a week"

Now in round 2 or 3 if we can get a solid C-G combo guy, we'll be looking good.

Cowboys resign Colombo to two-year, $7M deal

A week after the Cowboys paid more than $49 million to add Leonard Davis to the right side of their defensive line, the Cowboys filled out the rest of the right side by re-signing right tackle Marc Colombo.

Colombo received a two-year, $7 million deal that included a $4 million signing bonus. The Jets were among other teams pursuing the former Bears No. 1 draft choice, but Colomboopted to stay with the Cowboys.

With Colombounder contract, Davis can now concentrate on playing right guard. Columbo's re-signing was considered a top priority of Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. He re-signed center Andre Gurode before the start of free agency and then added Davis last week. The return of Colomboends any uncertainty about the offensive line.

No wonder we paid so much for Davis, he's playing both ways. :D

Not only that but what's with these?:laugh2:

Hawaii OG/C Samson Satale, this man is incredibly quick, the difference between his 40 time and his short-shuttle, is nearly a minute, .90 seconds, plus he's played OG, C and OT

I'm very glad to hear Colombo is back. Our line should be pretty solid.

C-Andre Gurode
LT-Flozell Adams
LG-Kyle Kosier
RT-Marc Colombo
RG-Leonard Davis

Now if only we didn't cut Larry Allen. If he was still here, this line would arguably be one of the best in the league.

If LA were still here we wouldn't have Kosier. We are better off without LA.

Yes, but since we don't have a time machine to take us back to when Larry Allen was any good ....

I would rather have LA than Kosier any day!
