JJ Wilcox is a rangy ball-hawk type.
He can be, but with his aggressive nature, I think he could be even better in the box.

Moving him to SS is as much about upgrading from Church as anything.

Wilcox 6000 (6'0)

Dez 6020 (6'2)

Dez always looks bigger than 6'2 to me.

Miles was listed at 6'3 and Dez was right there next to him. Irvin is 6'3 also, no? and Dez is right there as well.

Jordan 6'6...Dez only looks 2 inches smaller. So take it for what it's worth i guess

This is the guy who was benched in favor of Jeff Heath, right?

I liked JJ coming out. He was one of my "Mock Draft guys" that I got right. He has the ability to start in the league for 10 years. I thought he played ok for a rookie last year, until the injury.

He's got range, and he can hit. He spent a lot of time last year 'chasing cars' as Parcells used to like to say. I think he'll eventually get it down and play well for us. Let's hope it's relatively early in the season, this season.

He also showed awareness like when he peeled off to bat away a deep TD to DeSean Jackson. Parcells also used to say that he looked for puppies that bite. Wilcox bit.
