News: ESPN: Cowboys could use more big plays from Lance Dunbar

How good he is, we'll probably never know.

The Cowboys have often had issues featuring multiple playmakers. That's why a guy like Terrance Williams, despite showing a propensity for making big plays, can be averaging less than 3 catches a game as the 2nd receiver. It's why Beasley will never be a big part of this offense, no matter how adept a slot receiver he might be. It's why Escobar only shows up every couple of games and why Witten's numbers have dipped now that Murray is a big part of the offense.

It's not that any of those guys can't play. Witten, for example, is at virtually identical per-catch stats as he was last year when he had 8 TD's. it's because we've never shown the ability to get more than 2 offensive players involved in a game, consistently.

It's why we sometimes have these games where a team decides they are going to sell out to remove one of those weapons and the entire offense collapses.

The play calling still makes you go huh?
Can't beat a washington blitz?
Did Dunbar play this game? No screens at all?
Did Escobar play? Thought he was going to be the red zone guy?
