Hayden fills a role and he does it good enough to last the season at least. The guy is always hustling to my eyes at least.
Marinelli puts a big value on hustle and swarming to the ball. Hayden manages to get in on plays away from the line of scrimmage that you don't always see from DTs in other schemes.

Hayden is not overly strong and is not much of a pass rusher but Marinelli seems to really like him.

I think Jerry is pushing the issue of getting Brent back onto the 53. I'm not sure that Marinelli would be pushing for to play at this point.

Hayden gets all the hate but keeps on ticking. For some reason, the coaches like what he does.

Hamilton would most likely get scooped up by many teams. Many teams are depleted in the secondary. And we just lost Patmon for 3-4 weeks.

I'm guessing whoever we cut will be going to another team.

I wasn't trying to insinuate we'd cut Jakar i'm just wonder why he gets no playing time. Is he hurt? Like he's never suited he's just in a shirt and pants.

Hayden isn't a great starter but he is also not as bad as some people make him out to be. He is not very strong and relies on effort and wears down later in the game. As a rotational guy, he can give us some quality snaps.
