News: ESPN: Cowboys 'impressed' with Dak's rehab progress

You guys are blinded by literally 3 games in 2020. How did he do in the Rams game? How was he doing in the Giants game before the injury?

He put up big numbers in 3 games. You know what those three games had in common? He was playing bad defenses, he did nothing until we was already down by a few scores, and the defenses starting playing him soft half way through the 3rd quarters. I'm sure you will try and discredit all that, but it's facts. Why did Dak allow the team to go down by so many points and not be able to answer back at all until the game was all but over? Why did the offense do nothing until the defenses starting playing conservative?

I want to believe. I really do, but when you look at everything you can see all the cracks in the armor if you look at it objectively and not with biased eyes. There are a lot of problems with this team. Dak can be a bright spot, but he can also be the reason we lose games. I'm not saying 2020 was his fault, because it would have been hard for any QB to win with that defense. I'm saying that if you actually look at Daks numbers his bad play through the first 3 quarters of all those games was a big reason why he was able to put up big numbers late in the games. A lot the the stats are empty.
He was playing 3 playoff teams and the defense was giving up records in receiving and rushing plus TDs. They also couldn't get a stop, punt or turnover.

Sure Dak had a couple bad plays but you can't name 1 QB that doesn't. Dak was on pace for almost 7000 yards bro. This nonsense that it was garbage yards is just that, nonsense.

Did the defense stop teams from scoring.... no Did the running game help the defense or Dak.... no With teams scoring every possession, running game not doing much Dak was forced to pass.

The Rams game I thought the defense did ok, kept the Rams I think to 20 points or so. Dak led the comeback or at least the typing score with a perfect pass to Gallup that there refs took away from a bogus Offensive P.I.

You can't look at Dak in 16 until now and say he hasn't improved. That's ridiculous and just plain out false. Easy to go back a couple years and pull out bad games with just about any QB. You can also see even QBs like Mahomes get shut down until the 4th quarter. Dak is at worst top 10 in the league, I have him much higher, especially over guys like Watson who gets praised as a top QB but hasn't outplayed Dak.

But had we won any of those games it would be “Dak has a 44-19 W/L record!!!!”

Do you not remember Romo?

This fanbase has switched from demanding greatness to being happy with the lovable losers. If you remember, when Dak was 13-3 the fanbase wanted Romo back. The fan base didn't truly accept Dak until he put up a whole lot of empty stats in 2019 and went the old familiar 8-8. It reminded them a lot of their first lovable loser hero. That is when the fanbase said "Jerry needs to bank up the brinks truck for this man".

The once proud Dallas Cowboys fanbase has fallen far that they not only happily accept mediocrity, but they praise it also.

That dude is a monstrous hypocrite.
It's shameful to read this guy and he's a vet!

But, as likewise a vet...

Hypocrite.
And an ugly one.

....and your opinion is worth how many sections of toilet paper?

Meanwhile your posts are very thoughtful and thought provoking.
I can't wait to read your next whiney post about the things done to you while you do the same to them.

Great stuff!
