Carter would have to play like a pro bowler the rest of the year to even stand a chance to be resigned. He was a no show all last year and has been a no show most of this year. He doesnt care and I wouldnt give a guy with no will a contract.

The old adage "Runs like Tarzan, plays like Jane" comes to mind...

Never going to happen......this guy is lazy and he shows it on the field right in front of all to see. I don't even understand the people around here that actually want to see him resigned....just absurd.

You can bet there's a good reason why when Marinelli stated earlier this year that he "doesn't coach confidence." Despite Carter being blessed with an unusually gifted body, he's also cursed with a very fragile psyche. Now, granted, many players have gone through bouts of that deficiency but Carter has already had several years to overcome the one that haunts him on a regular basis and hasn't fared very well at all in the process. Let's face it, he's in trouble. He really needs to get on a roll -- his career with Dallas may be hanging in the balance.

You know BDC I think you are right and it's a gosh damn shame. There are times BC is a monster that probably has JJ salivating with the best of them. There are also times where we are all wondering whether he was even in the game. I think you have to read less and less between the lines to know exactly what the staff thinks of BC and that's after this season he will NOT be a Dallas Cowboy.

You're both right
A core of McClain lee and carter playing up to potential could be the best in the NFL
