This is a pretty poor WR class and unless Tate's available w/ our second pick, I'd stay away from drafting one in the first 3 rounds.

LOL, did I just read that right? Poor WR class, AND you think theres a possibility Tate will be there with the 2nd? I hope I didn't.

To those saying don't take anyone from LSU I tend to think Bradie James and Marcus Spears ended up well for us. And as far as not drafting a receiver from LSU well Dwayne Bowe is a beast.

Slow and can’t catch. Just what we need.

Speed in the 4.5s with a bad hamstring isn't slow. The question is how fast is he and there you use game film. If he's getting separation and not being constantly run down then there you go.

I don't know the guy well enough to vote up or down but this is the type of draft day opportunity you look for when you draft so low in each round.

Serious underacheiver at LSU.

Yeah and he has stone hands.

I'd rather have Carlton Mitchell, Damian Williams, or Gilyard.

Yuck. Much rather wait a few rounds and take our chances on a player like David Gettis of Baylor.

Gross, no way. Robert made him :)

Huh? He had some trouble with some drops, but the mans stats are pretty solid, especially considering how poor LSU has been at QB the last couple of seasons. 50, 63 and 57 receptions for 656, 929 and 792yds, plus 4, 8 and 11 tds is not a "serious underachiever"

If he was there in the 2nd rd and was the highest rated guy on our board, I'd definitely be happy with us taking him.

Caught a lot of passes from really crappy QBs too.

Since it seems like Cleveland has some interest in trading back up into the 2nd for a QB, move down to the early third and take him if you must. Get an extra lower pick to allow you to move up in the third or just use for another late round flyer on a lineman.

He seems too much like Crayton/Williams for me to get all lathered up... I'd prefer a legitimate deep threat, or at least a guy with serious quickness who can get open on shorter routes.
