Yea, I remember that one. He had a monster game against Philly in a 14-13 win too. But my point is that there weren't that many better, or even really comparable, to the game Lawrence just played.

Keep digging that hole, im sure it will end up being pretty deep. Ware was a one man wrecking crew for most of his career with Cowboys, he had no where near the talent around him as he did in Denver.

Lawrence reminds me of Charles Haley in that he was ALWAYS around the QB and constantly harassing the QB, whereas, Ware would occasionally be around the QB and have the occasional fast rush around the corner to take down the QB. I loved Ware, but I REALLY love what I'm seeing out of Lawrence right now.

Ware would have caught that INT, his game was all around and his athleticism was off the charts. But as great an athlete as he was it was his work ethic, leadership and intangibles that made him special.

Lawrence is actually better the last three games than ware because he's playing tougher than ware. Wares game was built on speed, Lawrence is doing it all although not quite as fast probably.

Ware played with power, too. His game wasn't just built on speed. I agree, though, that Ware was faster while Lawrence appears to be stronger.

It never ceases to amaze me how some around here disparage our all-time greats. I like DeMarcus Lawrence and thought before the season that he could have this kind of year, but at this point, he's barely touching the greatness that was DeMarcus Ware. Right now, he's heading toward a year like Ware had multiple times in his career. That's a great thing for our team, but that's all it is for now.

Can't wait until Witten retires, so we can start saying how much greater Rico is if he has a couple of 100-yard games.

May sound like sacrilege but I don't remember Ware being that consistently dominant for an entire 60 minutes from beginning to end. Undoubtedly Ware was more the physical freak. Lawrence was literally destroying the game... if not sacking Palmer he was hitting him or being disruptive for most of the game. Of course he has a ways to go to be compared to a future HOF'er just speaking of a one game performance.
