Was just curious what do most of you guys prefer? I guess I would lean NFL Network but both are pretty similar. What channel will you guys be locking in on this weekend or will their be lots of remote flipping going on?

I plan on having 2 tvs side by side, one w/ NFLN and one w/ ESPN. Both will be muted while I listen to Norm on The Ticket.

Impressive. Except the most annoying voice on the planet to me is Norm's. Still, I love your plan.

Anything but ESPN. If I can make it through another draft without seeing or hearing Chris Berman, I will be a happy camper.

I usually go with ESPN because I forget I have NFLN. With my comcast lineup it's channel 653 and I forget I have it. :laugh1:

I don't have 2 TV's but I do have the "prev channel" button on the remote set to change between the NFL Network and ESPN. I also like to listen to Norm on the Ticket. I like to listen to both Mayock and Kiper's opinions.

One of the more fun sequences ESPN always runs is the succession of bad draft picks by the Jets and the consternation of their fans in the past. It's always good for a laugh.

ESPN because I don't have any other option. But really I'll probably get most of my info from this board, especially on day two.

I might even go play golf or hiking with my dog or something and just listen to it on the radio.

The draft isn't exactly something you have to see... Guys like us who follow it this closely already know who all the players are and have seen all the highlights. Flipping between the national ESPN feed and Norm when it gets closer to our pick works pretty well for me.

I have a 56" Samsung, and i can split the screen with my PIP on my receiver...

I might try and mute it all and listen to Norm on the ticket as well...have never done it...

Does the ticket run the 7 second delay during the draft???

ESPN......it's a tradition thing! But I'll flip back and forth.
If Marshall Faulk or Deion come on I'll stay on ESPN.

I like Mort!

You can listen to the ticket over the internet.

Norms voice might be annoying as all get out but they usually put on a pretty good show and if the last year is going to be the same we will get the picks from him just before they are announced.

ESPN on the big screen, NFLN on the small screen.

But the second Berman starts announcing picks before the Commissioner, I'm swapping the arrangement. I like Berman, but man, is that annoying as hell.

I'll be watching NFLN. I like the fact that I can just sit there and watch ALL WEEKEND LONG.

Slightly different take on this. I'll record both simultaneously on my DVR, and watch the reactions afterwards on NFLN, then flip over to the ESPN version. Adding Norm on the ticket sounds pretty good to this mix.

At the end of the draft day, it's great to have a compilation of all the picks that the Cowboys got, on tape, with initial reactions.

I like it. I had planned on DVRing one or the other as I'll miss the early part of Sunday's rounds. DVRing both for the reactions is a cool idea. Thanks.
