a balmy 70 here in the Black Hills today;)

Felt like 70 today in San Antonio, celsius that is. The concrete on my shaded throughout the entire day patio is still showing 85 degrees and it's 1:32 am.

I'd pay good money to watch RW push Ed Werder and get rid of our 'stupid ESPN reporter' problem.

Roy is a lover not a fighter. He couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag.

Also said that RW has been wearing a weight vest to get in the best shape possible even in this heat! Also, for the record, was in Plano last week visiting my in laws and had the best time. Man, do you guys have some great food down there!

Jason Witten also chimed in, reminding reporters that it's a team effort and not just one person, and that the offense has to succeed as a unit.

This is what has to happen and something I have consistently been saying. Football is never about 1 person it is the entire unit working as 1 like a well oiled machine. When an offense is centered around 1 or 2 players it becomes easier for a defense to slow it down or flat out shut it down. I think the more people you can get involved with the offense the better the offense becomes and makes it much easier to overcome an injury because you’re not asking a player to do something he has not done all year.

Totally, and I htink they are gonna really run it this year to open up everything else.

I agree. I would also say it is not all about who has the best individual players who wins it is the best team who win. Football is always about team and when it comes to much about the individual you are not going to win no matter how great that individual player is.

I would like to see Mike Martz as the Cowboys QB coach. Wilson is a complete waste.

Curious if anyone else saw it and had any reaction? Looks like the heat is really bad at their facility in Carrolton - Roy Williams was sweating a ton and there was a shot of Marion Barber drinking some hose-water in the background :)

But of course Werder threw in a one-liner at the end to try and stir controversy, saying that a former member of the staff told him that "Owens pushed Williams in practice, so that without Terrell Owens you have a Roy Williams problem."

Based on Roy's comments in the video, though, it seems like they're trying to learn eachother's strengths and get on the same page. Jason Witten also chimed in, reminding reporters that it's a team effort and not just one person, and that the offense has to succeed as a unit.

by now everyone should realize that werder only stirs stuff up to "create" news where none is otherwise. sad state our journalism has gotten to but it's because people eat it up.

dallas sucks with owens, he's gone now and werder keeps milking it cause he sucks as a writer/reporter.

I think they need to rename that whole genre of journalism to something else.

Maybe sensationalism. I don't know if I like it, but it fits.

This camp will be a joke compared to the heat they are likely to experience in San Antonio. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, San Antonio is where Jimmy took his camp back in the glory days.

They practiced at St. Edwards in Austin Texas during the glory days.

However the heat in Dallas is just as hot as it is in SA. Today Dallas is a nice cool 97 degrees

Yep, they'll probably sweat quite a bit walking from the bus to the dome. :p:

Hot in Dallas and hot in San Antonio are not the same. San antonio's heat is very sufficating. So much humidity. But the dome is quite comfy.

97 is hot no matter how you dice it, living in Houston I understand the humidity much more than those in SA.

Interesting... Ed Werder is suddenly stirring up trouble, but when TO was here, he was just reporting the facts...

Wait, we all know that Mr. Blue Suit just tells the truth with no hyperbole or agendas and that every single source of his is valid.

Hack reporters tend to do 'hack things.'

interesting...TO has stirred things up on every team he's been on and asked to leave all 3.

but it's never his own damn fault...
