Typical Ed Werder, and typical ESPN using the Cowboys and the word "controversy" in their teaser to basically say "yeah if you're trying to punt at it, you can hit it."

If the best they can do for a Cowboys controversy in 2009 is the height of our scoreboard (as pathetic as that is) I'm all for it. etter that than to have a controversy involving personell.

I agree, this version of TMZ type gossip has at least completely taken the focus away from Romo-gate, Simpson-scandal and the Owens Report.

Exactly, it's been so effective that, if I were Jerry Jones, I'd be considering lowering the board about 10 feet. ;)

On a similar note, I was reading on the Tampa Bay board this weekend. They were all kinds of excited that John Clayton had said that their coach would be announcing their starting QB for the season.

The second I read the title of that thread, I knew they were in for a let down. 9 pages later, they figured it out. Some of the smaller teams that don't get the attention that Dallas gets in the national media don't realize how much BSPN and other media outlets outright fabricate stories to get you to watch or click on their websites.

But, he's a highly respected writer. Of course, he's highly respected by his buddies, fellow ESPN co-workers and people who want to be employed by ESPN...but highly respected nonetheless.

I have yet to see ESPN actually at the league offices asking why the jumbotron wasn't raised higher. Instead they would rather be at Cowboys Stadium or Arlington calling it a 'controversy' and blaming Jerry Jones.

Times like this you can't help but think how desperate ESPN and Mr. Blue Suit are for ANY story in regards to the Cowboys. Yet, they refused to report that Roethlisberger was having a civil suit filed against him for sexual assault.

Go figure.

Ain't nothing but a bunch of puppets.

Given our special teams performance, I see this as a smart move by Jerry... Just kidding. Folks are just jealous.

This just in from Ed: His inside sources say that the video board stormed into Jason Garrets office yesterday and demanded that it get the ball more.

ESPN's rating must be down as a result of the Cowboys not being the headline story every day this summer.

I love this. Especially the coke stain on the toilet paper and the Canadian flag near TO.
