DeBartolo may have been crooked, but he was the last 49ers owner who cared about the team actually winning. And they did bring Haley back to the roster when he was playing pretty badly injured, 'cause he needed money for his daughter's health care.

Does Haley go to the SF training camp and help their DLinemen though?

I'm okay with this - everyone remembers the man getting enshrined, not the person who tags them in.

As long as his teeth are white, who cares. Right Charles? ;)

Makes no difference to me. He helped our team with our Dynasty so that is all that matters to me and I am happy he is making the HOF.

I would apply that to most of the Cowboys that may have came from other teams...well except for Deion...he still annoys me lol.

I have no problem with this. Debartocrook drafted him, so it's a good choice. If it was George Seifert that would be another story.

Never thought Haley belonged in the Ring of Honor ahead of so many other more distinguished Cowboys.

He introduced the 49ers pick in the draft, and now he's going into the HoF basically as a 49er.

Meanwhile, there's still Harvey Martin, Too Tall Jones, Pat Donovan, Darren Woodson, and others in waiting.

Harvey Martin not being in the ring is a crime. Superbowl co-mvp, all decade team of the 70's.

He was a member of both teams, he can do as he likes. Besides, I'm sure Eddie debartlo isn't doing much these days with the 49ers. He's got time.

Indeed. I would add Jimmy Johnson, Drew Pearson, and Larry Allen at a minimum.
