Look at it this way....where's his loyalty between Jimmy and Jerry? If that call is a tough one, why not go with the guy who gave you your first chance as a draft pick out of tiny JMU.

He's so active with Cowboys and Cowboys players, it's no biggie.

Haley won 3 of his 5 rings with Dalas. I know the Cowboys are dear to his heart.

I am just happy for a man to have had so many uncontrollable issues that he has had to overcome and still be able to build himself into a True Legend.
Yes- his issues are well documented, but he was able to keep going and not get himself into serious trouble and not kill, or get killed- and I have friends and family members with bi-polar disorder and frankly: it's frightening sometimes.
Truly, truly frightening. I have had my life on that razor's edge by people in my life that have the disorder and it's a tragic thing to witness. A human that has real intelligence and very much knows what's right from wrong to simply lose all emotional control.

Yes. I don't care what team inducts the man. Mr. Gorbachev, bring down this Wall!

Haley wasn't a huge fan of Jimmy Johnson. Certainly not after Jimmy tore him a new one in a bathroom stall in Denver at halftime of a game in 1992.

They'll probably announce him as a former 49er for his Hall of Fame induction. But if he ever gets into any trouble, then they will call him a former Cowboy.

I think Haley actually liked Switzer best.

Who wouldn't like a coach who delivers flu medicine to his doorstep when he was sick?

Haley did have one tiff with Switzer. In 1995, after the Cowboys lost to the Commanders in Washington, in his Tuesday press conference, Switzer said that the defensive line played a poor game and didn't play the proper technique. After the game, when interviewed, Haley was pO'd about Switzer's criticism, and said that after the season, they would never get him back in this uniform again.

Never thought Haley belonged in the Ring of Honor ahead of so many other more distinguished Cowboys.

He introduced the 49ers pick in the draft, and now he's going into the HoF basically as a 49er.

Meanwhile, there's still Harvey Martin, Too Tall Jones, Pat Donovan, Darren Woodson, and others in waiting.

I whole heartily agree with you its a bloody shame no Harvey Martin unreal !!!
