He just wished him luck which was actually a pretty cool thing to do. Not everything has to be turned into a soap opera!

So he made some agreement with Tony then, right?

"Look old buddy..Imma privately text you, and you'll announce to the press...and that'll help me get a job this fall"

Yes, he did. Why wouldn't he? Outta sight outta mind. RB's might start dropping soon.

Well....since you say so, must be true.
At least have the grace to give him credit for being civilized about it. He could have gone to a late night parking lot block party for pr .

There are some talented RB's not playing right now because of the cap.

Teams think they can win with scrubs.

Good luck going against a top run defense with a scrub RB.

No way we won all those games without ESmith.
Cowboys won games without Irvin, they won games without Aikman.
I do not think they won games, or only a few without Emmitt. Though he did not miss many games.

Maybe because he fell off so quick, and Dez, Witten , and Romo got plenty of hate towards the end of their careers. Romo still gets hate, but he's still in the spotlight. Dez and Witten don't get much, but they're not relevant anymore. The hate with Zeke will die down after he's done playing. It's just how it is
Naw it’s different….

If Romo said he’d come back to the NFL there will be people vying for him just like people still do Dez. People don’t even want Zeke texting his old teammates….

High ankle sprain? Is that what they are calling it today?

"fractured his fibula"

"broke his leg AND a high ankle sprain"

"WebJan 25, 2023 · Running back Tony Pollard underwent surgery Tuesday to repair ligaments from a high ankle sprain he suffered in the Cowboys' playoff loss Sunday, a source told ESPN's Todd Archer."

"After the game, news came out that Pollard's injury was more severe than initially reported. The first-time Pro Bowler was reported to have fractured his left fibula on the play. He reportedly will need surgery."

In any case, "fully healthy" does not mean NFL ready. There is also a psychological element to healing after an injury. How much confidence will he have in making cuts? Will it effect his decision making?

32 teams would love to sign Zeke, but not for the salary he requires to heal a bruised ego.

I don't get it. You guys speak so well of Dez, Romo.....why the Zeke hate? Witten got it at the end too. Zeke was a great player here and professional as he matured. I enjoyed watching the human being he became. He's no longer here and people still have negative things to say about him? Just wow.
I just choose to remember his first 3 seasons…..he was outstanding

We have some of the most hateful and ignorant fans there are.

So a positive thing from Zeke to Tony, and we get the thread taken over with hate immediately. This is why Stephan A. Smith hates Dallas...as he always claimed, it is because of the fans.
Maybe you need to look for a team with fans you like better than us. Ask your hero Stephen A for some suggestions.

You are the one that interpreted my post as a slam against Elliott, that's on you. I simply stated what I thought he was doing and I see nothing wrong with it at all.

That is your take from that. Wow, you are exactly what he means. This is your argument. :lmao2:

Find another team, ask yourself that. You should find another team since you like nothing about this team.

I do not have a hero. So to say SAS is one. You are again wrong as usual. All I said is what he said. You are proving my point.

Dalvin Cook, Hunt, Fournette, better backs still out there unemployed. Zeke might be waiting by the phone a while.

Oh pardon me. I thought it was an open discussion. Hmm well...alright.

Reaching out to his former RB partner...is all it was. There's all KINDS of ways to get his name in the news....if he wanted to.
