Commanders will be decent. They had a good draft and off season free agency. They gotten rid of rg3 and any associated distractions. They won't be push overs. Also that Giants offense looks powerful. They have WRs like crazy plus they spent 200 million in free agency.

This is our last chance to win the division title until Wentz mercifully retires.

It wont end that way. It will come down to the last game of the season. Eagles vs. Cowboys. One team finishes 8-8.

 Typical

Take a look at the schedule, and se who we play the last game of the season.....I won't spoil it for you, you will have to look it up.....

When 17 points is all you can afford to give up, defense is hard. Teams took no chances against Dallas. Didn't have to. They just waited for exhaustion to set in.

Dallas' defense was good in the first half last year when they were fresh.

I watched a defense unable to pressure the QB.
I watched a defense that couldn't force a turnover to save their lives.
I watched a defense that continually crumbled late in close games.
I watched a defense that never made a play when it counted most.

Now I will grant you that some of these issues were related to Romo and Dez being gone for most of the year. But the defense certainly didn't do anything to make up for that loss either.

While there may have been individuals like Lee and Jones who had respectable individual seasons, the group as a whole was dreadful. It is going to take a major turnaround as a group to get to double digit wins. Many think it's just going to happen because.......well just because.

I'll believe it when I see it.

All of these are true to a point. Football is symbiotic with all the parts exceeded the whole and working together. One prospers the others tend to do so. One fails and the rest are between a rock and a hard place.

Last year's defensive performance is not predictive for this year's is all one can say although being concerned is entirely appropriate. Not sure I'd get to the hand wringing stage yet.

Same guy who had us I the 6-10, 7-9 range in 2014.
Not that he was alone.

We should be a 10-6 team which means 12-4 to 8-8. Should be 90% odds on either although I'd sway towards the upper end depending on health.

I hope this comes true. I have a bet with a Niners fan that we will win more games than them. Had the same bet last year and lost.

With a healthy team, which goes most teams, or if a few injuries, with a bit of luck, as with most teams also. We should win 9 to 11 games, and 12 would be a nice bonus as in 2014.

I don't see how this team wins 12 games with this defense. No pass rush. Holes all over the back end. To get to 12 wins, you have to make numerous assumptions regarding the defense. Assumptions based on no evidence.

We got to 12 wins with a worst defense in 2014

Just like your assuming this defense is terrible. ....assumptions based on no evidence

Just for the record on this season's schedule...Dallas will own their record, and it will be a good one.

Not that this means a hill of beans, but national perception is always interesting sport.

The biggest difference I saw from the defense last year and the year prior is the number of minutes they played and the fact they could not force turnovers. I fully expected their turnover numbers to be lower by 40-50% not as low as they were last year.
