I don't see how this team wins 12 games with this defense. No pass rush. Holes all over the back end. To get to 12 wins, you have to make numerous assumptions regarding the defense. Assumptions based on no evidence.

Are there holes all over the back end? Scandrick is back, Mo improved last year and Car while he wasnt worth the contract, can be a solid player at times. Jones has another year of experience under his belt and we all have high expectations for him. So are there really holes all over the back end?

Can we actually have a better pass rush this year? Dlaw has another year under his belt, Crawford is healthy and has his strength back, Thorton is a welcomed addition and we have a plethora of guys we are all hoping can build off of thier great potential in Gregory, Irving, Collins, Tapper and more.

It is possible for this defense to improve. It is possible the defense may be better when we actually threaten to score points on offense. Maybe we can actually be put in a position to take some risk and play an aggressive defense.

Is not the same players as last year's defense. Is much improved

I think 10-6 is a reasonable projection until we see exactly what Elliott can do in the NFL. If he's great, we're a 12-4 team.

And if we have no consistent pass rush, we're a 9-7 team.

Lee was fantastic last year. Claiborne was more than respectable. Jones showed great promise. Irving looks like a rotational guy. Gregory was hurt almost all year.

Will Tony have a career year (2014) and not miss more than one game, will Zeke have 1,800 yds (as Murray)? Will our defense be in the top 10 in takeaways (2014)? Pretty sure the NFC East as a whole is a lot better than 2014, we aren't the only ones who should on paper be better.

-If given the carries Murray was, absolutely. But he probably won't and it'll be more of a committee. Which doesn't mean our running game will be worse, we'll probably just share the wealth among our 3 good RBs.

This is not in question, he is greatness personified. The dude is a top three back in the NFL before he has even taken a handoff. And behind this line, that makes him a 1,400 yard back in his rook season.
