Football Outsiders says they're better against the run this year than in 2000 -- and better than any other defense in the "DVOA era" (since 1989).

And stuff like that is why Football Outsiders is so hit or miss. Some of their abstract stats defy logic. I mean I watched the Ravens in 2000. I forget how many shutouts and total dominations they put up that year but anyone with a working set of eyeballs could tell you the 2000 defense is much better than the 2016 version.

They would also tell you the 2016 offense is better than the 2000 offense, stats be damned.

We will wear them down, their DBs will get tired after tacking Zeke in the first half, I expect it to be close in the first half then as unsusal we start steam rolling them. THe more they commit to the box the more the passing game opens up. Our receivers have to win the 1 on 1 match ups if we do that it will be 30 to 16, I predict Brice Butler has another big day and watch out for a few key catches by Escobar to create mismatches on thier DB's. Also I expect a few screens to let Zeke ground and pound the DBs.
We are better on offense than they are on defense, especially on the ground.
I don't know about that, but I strongly believe there offense is more bad than our defense is.

This might be our easiest win of the year outside of the Browns and Bears games.

Doubtful. We will miss Durant and Wilcox more than people think. I see this being a low scoring, tight game. I said the game vs. the Skins would be a shootout and it was for the most part. Minny will sell OUT to stop Zeke and they will come pretty close. Their Dline is capable of limiting him greatly. However, Linehan isn't stubborn or stupid. Vikes have some defensive injuries and it just so happens...they're in the secondary. This will be Dak's game to win. The weather is suppose to be dry but about a high of only 36. By game time it could be in the low 30's. Dak isn't use to throwing in the cold and it does concern me. I think we'll win but it's going to be tight and low scoring: 20-17 Cowboys.

Vikes play in a dome. They could leave it open, but I doubt it.

We're considered by Las Vegas a 3-point favorites at their place (which translates to a 6-point estimate) on neutral ground. We're at least all of that and more, imho. The Viking defense has been on a downward spiral since the season began. They'll be tested more severely than they've been all season. If we can manage any pressure at all on Bradford, he might well turn the ball over if past history means anything at all.

The Vikings have lost five-out-of-five games where they gave up OVER sixteen points (and they just lost to a Detroit team where they only gave up sixteen points) . So what are the odds that the prodigious Dallas offense can't mount a score of seventeen points or more?

Bet the farm on Dallas.

If the Vikings have any chance whatsoever to win this game, it will be by special teams, defense and turnovers. Their offense is not capable of sustained drives throughout the game. In fact, they suck.

Having said that, their defense has won them multiple games......

Didn't read the whole thread, but I love it when they say "cowboys haven't faced a defense like this yet!" The same holds true, they haven't seen an offensive line like ours yet either. As with the other games, we'll start to wear them down by the second half and pull away.
