ESPN hating on Romo for what he wore into locker room

Good Lord, is this all BSPN has to report on???

How about an injury report, how about key matchups, how about field conditions, ect.....
Your kidding right?

I had a problem with it and haven't watched ESPN all day. He looked like a 9th grader with his hat turned backward and bookbag unlike Matt Ryan who wore a actual suit when he was going to work. What is going on in that head of Tony Romo?

Does Matt Ryan wear a suit on the field? hmmmmmmm.....

People have dissed him on this forum for wearing his hat backwards. I know some do it as a joke but that was only because of people complaining about it.
So...it is not just ESPN.

I agree. Who cares if he and other players put their cap on backwards it has nothing to do with anything and as far as what he was wearing during the post game which was a tee shirt with a flannel looking shirt over it should not be a big deal. This was not a formal affair it was a post game interview. :laugh1:

Is this Project Runway, or the NFL?

Who the hell cares what he's wearing pre-game or post-game? Not me

blue jeans and a tshirt is still better than that damn berret thing he was wearin a lot last year.

As long as he does not wear the superman cape until the SB what he wears is his business. :laugh1:

It's called a newsboy cap or a flat cap.

As Romo said the other day in his PC. He is no into facades. He is who he is. He is not going to wear a suit to the locker room for style just to take it off and put his football uniform on. That is all that is, just for show. That is not Romo.

That is a lot of what I like about Romo. He is not there to impress anybody. I hate his hat (flatboy cap or whatever it is) but I think he really likes it so he wears it and does not care what you think. Good for him.

Hat backwards, so what. He likes it that way. Sometimes I like it that way too. He is not trying to promote any attitude with it. Just how he wears it.

But no, what Romo wears to the stadium is more important:rolleyes:
Come on... ESPN spends all day reporting on all those things. You get hours worth of key matchups, instant injury updates, and even reports on whether or not the roof is going to be open or closed - repeated over and over all day long. It's not unusual to see footage and commentary when the marquee players start arriving.

Personally I find it interesting, but not because of what it says about Romo. I find it interesting because of what it says about the coaching staff and team rules regarding what the players are (or aren't) required to wear on gameday.

Gosh why not the same report on Belicheck and his hoodie with the sleves cut off?

Actually, that's a good example because that is the sort of thing that ESPN is constantly talking about (and have done reports on) when they discuss the Patriots. There must have been about 100 "hoodie" comments during the Pats-Bills game. So it really isn't just the Cowboys.

Seven pages on what he wore to the game!! Did I type in the Prez Hilton url by accident!?!

I know this is a message board and all but.............could we please stop with the espn hating on us threads. Who cares, it's tabloid journalism, the majority of the staff suck.

No I am not kidding.

When Favre does it, he's being a Man's Man, a warrior, a good ole boy, a down to earth guy......

Spot on!

It's cause they got him on some kind of a Brady like plane and try to make him more of some kind of sex icon or something than he really is...He's a football player not an actor...and for that matter even though i'm not a fan, so is Brady.

They just happen to date hot women.

I'm no fashion expert, but I think the rolled-out-of-bed look suits Romo a lot better than the way Jessica dressed him.
