Arizona Will Heat Up Against Dallas's D
I've always said that football is a game of matchups. Take the Cardinals offense, for one. Against the Jets, they committed a ton of turnovers. But playing the Bills last week, they adjusted against Buffalo's quick defense, throwing more three-step drops and crossing routes. That adaptation will take them a long way against the Cowboys' defense, which plays a more physical, stronger game than the Bills.

Kurt Warner and Larry Fitzgerald should look for those patented vertical throws. As for the running game, expect Arizona to run on the edges with Edgerrin James and Tim Hightower. That's where the Cowboys struggle, as they showed against the Commanders and Bengals. They'll want to force the outside linebackers to stop the run instead of hitting Warner repeatedly.

We didn't struggle to stop the run at all against the Bengals, especially "on the edges." They ran three times to the left end and got minus-4 yards. They ran twice to the right end and got 3 yards. That's five carries for minus-1 yard "on the edges."

The Bengals' best running came up the middle, but even that was just 10 carries for 36 yards. Overall, they had 23 carries for 61 yards — 2.65 yards per carry.

I'm not to sure the writer of that knows what he is talking about. Tim Hightower, and Edge aren't the type of backs you want hitting the edges. They are both banging backs, and Hightower is a redzone specialist(I have him on my fantasy team).

The bad thing about being America's Team is that we get every teams best shot week in week out, even when we were only winning 3 games a season, teams were still drooling over the fact that they got to play us.

You are the man. I thought what he said sounded kind of odd... Seems I was right.

Do you email these little nuggets to the people who most need to see them.

BTW- Didn't Hoge retire early due to repeated concussions.

Former Steelers should be banned from broadcasting. Bradshaw, Woodson, Hoge. Need I say more?

Please folks, remember the damage this guy took to his head during his playing days. Look at it like this, when Reagan was asked about Dukakis's medical records, Ronnie said "I'm not going to pick on an invalid":D

how is Romo throwing for 4 TD only 26 fantasy points. In my League each TD is 6 points and every 15 yards is a point.

in my league TD passes are only 4 pts and 1 pt per 25 yds passing.

in your league Favre must have had like 60 points or close to it against Zona.....heck, Warner probably had over 30 even with the 7 turnovers.

I see both offenses putting up big #'s tomorrow, especially since both teams have banged up secondaries. Hopefully, the homefield advantage is enough to get the Cards a W. We have killed the last 4 teams we played at home.

You guys have fielded a very good team under Ken Wisenhunt. I never thought much of the Cards as a franchise, but when they hired this guy from the Steelers, I had a feeling they would eventually turn it around.

Yeah, honestly I think hiring him was the best move the franchise has made in my lifetime (lord knows that isn't saying much). I just can't wait for him to fire the DC he got stuck with here and bring in a new guy next year. The owner has relinguished power to his son the last few years and things seem to be on the up and up.

I can also honestly say that when the Fitzgerald to Philly for Lito trade DIDN'T fall through, everyone here on CZ was *relieved*.

Lito Sheppard has been a long-time Cowboy killer, and would love to seem him leave our division(this would all but burden Asante "zone corner" Samuels into locking down his side of the field 100% of the time), but Fitz in Philly would have given McNabb a TREMENDOUS weapon, as well as open up Reid's pass-happy playbook to new heights.

OTOH-wouldn't have minded Boldin to go to Philly for Lito(both are represented by Rosenhaus, BTW).
